Someone shouldn't be banned due to killing someone on a corpse run during mass pvp. They should be suspended like the others apparently. Every case is looked at separately and there are some that are more severe as far as length of suspension.

Unless that person has been convicted of previous crimes. He had his chance to clean up his act. It serves as a punishment severe enough to entice him to clean up his act and stop testing the GMs. It is a huge waste of time for GMs to tolerate his abuse to the server over and over again, forcing them to look into issues.

I understand being upset a friend got banned and you believe there are worse people out there still roaming free. I'm sure every time someone gets a perma ban there are still people worse than that player out there somewhere that haven't been caught enough times yet. It is what it is. Eventually people will get banned if they deserve it and get caught enough. Just because you can't catch everyone at once doesn't mean you shouldn't take care of business as infractions come along.

I'm sure there are a list of players that would receive perma bans doing what Tune did while the majority of the server would receive just a slap on the wrist. It is what happens when you have been caught breaking the rules prior.

Well there is no point in asking this thread why you were banned. People have made several lists of what they think you did throughout the thread. The only meaningful answer you will get will be from the GMs. They obviously think there is enough evidence and infractions to warrant a ban. All the players on this thread will either think you are 100% guilty or 100% innocent with glaring bias.

One fact that has been thrown around a lot lately is the screenshot of Elphi talking about how many times you had logged into beowulf's account. Guilty by association whether or not you pulled the trigger. When GMs see problems occurring throughout the last several years and see someone's name being brought up over and over again you get a reputation/record.

Almost every single person in dentists was routinely chain petitioned and frapsed by nihilum for "ghosting" "speed mods" "stick" etc etc. Fuck man you guys accused your own guildy Gongshow of hacking vs willan when you didn't realize it was him. Tune abused IP exemptions since day 1 here, was previously banned for boxing, put mobs into walls abusing high sun, abused instrument in offhand, CC'ed and farmed newbs 24/7, made a mockery of the PNP, seemed to somehow just "know" every single exploit in the game and was always just "testing" them to "report" them. That he isn't perma banned on all chars he touches is absolutely astonishing to me, as a former Senior Guide during the Petition Era. This guy wouldn't have lasted a week.
