Large Opal off hand of Veeshan

I was just wondering from people that do Sky more regularly. How rare of a drop is the Large Opal (mage piece for Test of Displacement) from HoV? I was thinking of a new mini goal was going to be to try to get my Air Staff focus item and that seems like the only hard part. I haven't done isle 8 before. How many pieces does he usually drop? It can be MQ'd right?

I would advise that in general no sky quests are able to be MQ'd.

Large Opal is not particularly rare. However, if you're not in a guild that does sky weekly and getting close to island 8 your only real hope is to tag along with a guild and buy a rot.
