Hopped on my monk for like a minute and killed a mob, got bashed and stunned for 2 sec during that I hit mend.
Hotkey depressed and on cooldown, didn't mend and no message.
I thought there would be a message like You can't do this ability while stunned or something?

Yeah... I remember when I first logged on P99 back in the day I rolled a new monk and this happened. I thought "man this server must be busted".
Works fine now, though. I have a 32 monk and mend is working just as it used to. It should always return a message when you use the skill. Is your mend skill at 0? Might have something to do with it...

Mend can fail if your skill is <100. This may explain that.

I got no message, success or fail, took no damage.
I simply pressed the button, it depressed, no message, and trying it again did nothing as though it was still on cooldown.

I don't think there is a fail message...
just used it again and nothing, theres a success message and a hurt yourself message but no regular fail message apparently.
thought there was.
