I played on Brell from about November 1999 to about June 2000. I got to level 13. Played a paladin named Steward and a ranger named Laliddar who I can almost guarantee no one remembers all these years later. Good times though.

I remember a higher level pally named Hawkeblade? gave me a nice 2h axe on my paladin which was amazing. I also had a higher level ranger at the time help my ranger get his short sword of morin, named Plainswalker I believe. Not sure how I feel that I remember these names 14 years later.

Anyone remember the monks only guild in the early, early days? Zan Fi Monks iirc.

I also remember Violent Harvest. I remember seeing one of their members one day when I was a noob... a dark elf necro with full enshrouded and a harvester. I just stared at their character admiring how bad ass it looked.

A few people who stuck in my memory... Nilrem the high elf wizard. Bloodwell the human mage. Starseed the troll SK.

That is correct. I was the leader of Exemplar, later raided with SR, and was/am a mod on the Brell boards.

Pras. Too bad I was 14 and barely knew how to raid until Velks. By that time I was on a new server doing velks on my monk with all koreans.
