View Full Version : Increase the spawns

Raid population is not classic, so why does the raid spawn time have to be classic?

What is so wrong with making all these targets pop daily or more often?

More spawns, more pixels, more happy people.

I would rather read the full text of the Affordable Care Act than these raid proposals, honestly.

Kunark has lasted 3 years. There's already been more spawns.

What's to stop the same people killing the raid targets and selling the stuff from doing that with more spawns? They'll just have more to sell.

And prices go down. Fine with me.

You could even make the mobs drop less loot per kill. Think more people just wanna see these elusive raid mobs.

Leave the loot the same, up the spawn rate by 50%, and do a 50/50 split between hardcore FTE and casual rotation. Hardcore guilds get the same # of engagements they've been getting, casual guilds get on a rotation with guaranteed access.

How would this hurt anyone other than someone running RMTs?

They have stated repeatedly that the mechanics will not change (save for variance if socking improves). Threads like this are beyond pointless. Move on!

Why not? mechanics have already changed to try to accomidate the raid scene (vairance). If it would take time to do (volunteer supported server), why not tack it on to a current proposal and run with that until it can be done?

I believe that the staff is trying to get tr player base to act like adults and resolve problems for themselves. You can't say that variance or stale content created the problems. Variance/content didn't force raiders to act like assholes

Just curious... where was Rogean in these talks? This doesn't sound like it reflects his perspective at all.

from the beginning they wanted guilds to work it out for themselves, I'm sure big ro is more than happy to have not needed to play a bigger part than he did.

From what I've heard, that isn't what happened.

it seems like they've put down some very simple guidelines and are letting guilds figure it out for themselves. T2 can do a rotation if they want, or race, or come up with some crazy 6 paragraph ironclad contract like most of the raid proposals.

a lot of freedom left for guilds to figure out what they want to do within their limits.
