Is what this entire raid stalemate had devolved into. People debating about how to play an elf simulator, with said elf simulator in ATTICA mode until a solution can be reached.

So, the poopsocking has transitioned to the meta forums. People can sit on their toons as long as you like, maybe. The pathologies can reiterate themselves in the meta-game called lawyerquest.

What is curious to realize is, there is a not insignificant number of players who do not really mind at what level the game plays out. They turn everything into a grind.

20-30 minute courtesy window for competition. If your guild got previous kill, you have to give the courtesy window. No Snidely Whiplash training/camp disruption BS within that window. EZ cs.

edit: yes. it has come to the point I am referencing Snidely Whiplash. Clearly, the Rubicon has been crossed.

lol.. i just had to look for a gif for the Attica! Attica! Attica! scene, ended up finding a picture that includes Sirken and the rest of the staff quite literally with a gun to the head of P99

It's a standoff, and lots of people like trouble. Rule #1 of reality club: do not facilitate conflict.

Progress happens when the simplest rules are adopted to then let things go their own way. My proposal is the only one that can be expressed in a single sentence. not braggin, just describin.

edit: simplest rational rules. Naturally, leads one to ask, what is rational. An easy answer is, rational is from its root, ratio, meaning the relation of parts to wholes. To be rational is to see things in perspective, in other words. A good rule understands the whole, and makes the simplest formulation possible.
