Another *NEW* dumb question about LnS.

If the party who killed you is not in zone and your get your corpse? Are you at that point obligated to scoot if they show up within the next 1hr period? Even if you break a new camp or engage in pvp with a new party?

I don't understand what your trying to tell me stasis? your supposed to loot and scoot even if the party that killed you isn't there in game or zone to ask? (lets say they are ported away 2 a whole nother continent engaging in dragons at that point, and your initial pvp happend 20 mins ago in lower guk)

I would imagine LnS aught not to apply at that point.

I thought it was an implied courtesy to other players not the zones themselves. Or some meta ruling to make death more sever by default.

P.S. I'm looking for a guideline to go by based on the players not being responsive/inzone/able to be communicated with (they left the game)

also I would imagine if they are made to lns by another party at that point your free to return. Example I die, LnS, and chewie then kills them within 5 minutes after my cr, I had 40 mins to go. They are now LnSing, I am now allowed to return as long as I don't interfere with their LnS... amiright?

Generally. LNS is over after a 1 hour period or the player/party that killed you logs or is no longer doing anything in that zone.

Can't believe so many players aren't familiar with loot n scoot.


Edit: also the timer begins when you either die if you opt to not go get your corpse for an hour or when you zone out after getting your corpse.

my only experience with lns is, players letting me xp in zone as long as i didn't bother them (they just came to pvp and left once it was over/not fun anymore), or leaving unrest for a full day per chewies wishes (I wasn't a flower at the time)

yeah... chewie believes in 24hr lns =/

havnt ever had issues with being corpse camped/lns, i never went back 2 a zone i couldn't legitimately fight for
