If I could quickly zone over to OOT via translocate where all the casters are bound, I would surely encounter more PVP. There are people farming plat 24/7 off seafuries, and others who just have a wiz/druid bound there they gate and pick people off for YT. Clearly if translocation was added then melees would no longer be limited to dungeon pvp. Give us the room to stretch our legs and be able to roam freely, encounter people normally we would never ever wait on a boat for. There is no limit to what a melee class(war/rog/mnk/shd/pal etc) could do if this were changed. +1 to translocators yes pls.

Since boxing isn't allowed, turning on translocators will allow us to not need port bots because solo traveling will be alot easier. It will protect newbs from getting ported to Tox when they ask for a ride, it will prevent people from getting griefed when they ooc for a port and get setup with a gank squad.

We are just trying to help nilbog help us. Boxing is illegal, and if we remove the need for "self ports" then we help reduce the amount of broken rules on our pristine play environment.

Translocator can be used for many things such as getting the place is quicker more PvP les downtime more fun it can also be used for meeting up with people doing deals having fun running away greeting people contact the gmswith them they can also use for helping new players old players present players weekly players monthly players yearly players Players of the decade Players Association United States of players. And many more things

Translocation helps the small guys. In Nihilum we have 5 wizards online all hours as part of the Guild Charter so ports are never hard to come by, plus OT hammers.

Should have made boat travel like EQ2 originally. The first time you went somewhere you basically had a scripted event you had to beat that involved sea monsters and other nonsense. After that you could click a bell on the dock and port to the bell on the other dock.

as I recall nilBORG really likes the idea of boats specifically because they're classic and put a bunch of effort in to get the boats coded right such that people weren't getting dropped off of them, and although I respectfully dislike the fact they got changed, count me in for +1 for transloctors
