Changing the Host Txt File

Any idea why I get the "Access is Denied" message when I try to change the EQhost.txt over to the proper host server?

Any help would be great. Thanks

You're trying to modify a file in a sub-directory of Program Files. Win7 doesn't like that. You'll probably have better luck to install EQ into a different directory, outside of Program Files.

Or you could give the EQ folder admin rights..

copy paste the host.txt to ur desktop, change the needed info there, save, cut and paste back within eq folder. Done
