Recently I can get to the character select screen, but when I click enter world I get the message "You have been disconnected."

This has never happened before and keeps me from logging in currently.

i'm having the same issue. i've never been able to get on, though.

also, when i try to create a new character, i get the same message upon creation, but the character is still in the character selection list.

anyone come up with a solution for this problem yet?

This happened to me repeatedly yesterday. I gave up for an hour and tried again later. Problem seemed to work itself out. I thought it was my ISP being wonky (as it has been a likely culprit in the past) - glad to know I wasn't the only one experiencing this.

I figured out it was because my brother was on the server and I haven't asked for an IP exemption yet. If you have anyone playing from the same IP address it will cause that connection problem for you.

yeah, that's kind what i thought it might be for me, too. just posted for an ip exemption a couple hours ago.
