Now i use Macroquest 2 on The Hidden Forest when i play there, boxing quite a few characters, now i havnt ran it when i have played p99 once, and never plan to, but since its on my PC and has been used for THF would i get banned on p99, during a ban wave?
You're playing with fire. I doubt anyone in the community will be able to answer you, because if they had experience with it, they are probably banned.
So you cheat on an easy server?
If you have used MQ on p99, yes.
If you have left MQ running while logging into p99, but haven't used it, maybe.
If you haven't left it running while logging into p99 and you havn't used it, no.
Basically, for safety sake, close down EQ totally and make sure MQ isnt running before logging into p99

i've got a friend that was using MQ2 on EZServer, accidentally left it running while logged into P99, and got banned for it.
i've known the guy for a long time, definitely not the sort of person that would cheat on P99. didn't matter.

I used to play THF with MQ2 as well. Just restart your pc after playing THF. Or figure out which processes are used for MQ2. I just restart =).

Uses macro quest, but not the type of person that would cheat?

i use macroquest just so i can box, like so i can have my characters stick and heal with hotkeys from 1 character, stuff like that on the hidden forest of course, and the hidden forest isnt really super populated so if u wanna really get anything done u gotta box alot of characters and it makes it easier, and not so much of a job, but anyways, yeah ive never ran MQ2 while launching up p99 was just wondering how that would work, and yeah i'll be super careful

pretty much everyone on EZServer/The Hidden Forest uses macroquest, and its not considered cheating over there

EZServer is far from easy simply because everyone legitimately boxes 6 or more characters there.
MQ2 is almost a requirement on every server that isn't P99 to box multiple characters.
It's not about cheating to them; it's about being able to progress period on those low-population servers. On EZ, the content is designed around botting 6-18 characters at once.
That being said, I would never recommend running MQ2 with Project 1999 running. If you even played on EZ w/ MQ2, then /q'd out with the game still running then logged on Project 1999, you'd likely get banned because MQ2 is still in the address space of EQ at that point.
Technically, anything that interacts with EQ directly (ie; in memory) is grounds for a ban. I'd assume the staff would check on a per-case basis to see if you are running anything you shouldn't be.

make sure u exit out of EQ and Kill the MQ2 process from your processes list, or else it will continue to run in the background.
then after you have done that, restart your eqgame and log in to p99.
any thing else will get you flagged

What if you are running a different client and MQ2 for that client? Say I run the Titanium client for P99 and the Underfoot client for EZ and use the MQ2 for Underfoot as well, would I still be flagged as a dickhead on P99? If I start up Underfoot and the MQ2 for it first and then later run Titanium, MQ2 gives me a warning that goes like this: "Incorrect client version", so I just close MQ2 down and restart Titanium to be sure.

It will still load into EQ regardless. Being in the process space alone can flag you.
