View Full Version : Best casual raid guild for GMT+9?

Sort of a random question, but does anyone happen to have a recommendation for a casual raiding guild (planes/ragefire/royals) that might work for a player in time zone GMT+9 (Japan)?

I don't really have enough time to apply to one of the more time-intensive guilds but after asking around and not finding much, I was hoping maybe someone on here might have a suggestion on a guild to look into.

Perhaps any other players in Asia with advice? 8)

Thanks for any suggestions fellas!

Mari Kita is an Asian guild (mostly Singaporeans) playing in GMT +8. Not sure if they are accepting members, u might wanna give wooffie or extratiny a tell to check their status.

Sure why not. It's making batphones that counts to both guilds.

"Making batphones" is casual now? jesus

Yeah, pretty sure that's the exact opposite.

BDA has AM and PM raids and a couple Aussies in the guild

Likewise, and thank you Fuark for creating this thread. The server will be down tonight when I would otherwise be playing, but tomorrow night I'll check to see the population of some of the guilds to see what would be a good match. Not sure how sort after a Druid is though :( If any guilds are interested, feel free to send me a tell

There's no such thing as a casual raiding guild ATM. Taken and BDA would be the closest thing to that though.

Thanks Cecily. I guess to be more specific what I meant is 'are there any guilds around that time that raid' :) I did notice about 10 or so Taken and BDA players on last time I checked around my night time. I've grouped with many of their players in the past and have had nothing buy good experiences with them.

On a side note, once I catch up to Lafael on Mulder, feel free to hit me up if you ever want to duo ;)

Sounds good to me! Lafael should be 49 in a day or so (thank you Bloodgils).

Cecily doesn't understand the concept of raiding. If you'd like to play EQ on call and never leave your house lest you miss a batphone then I'd suggest you get to 60 asap and app for TMO.

If you'd like a community to level with and hit some planes and occasionally snag some targets then I'd suggest BDA.

I mean dragons when I say raiding. You mean abhorents.

you mean never leaving your house, logging in at 4am, training people in VP, rules lawyering, counter-socking, mercenaries

i mean being a part of a community that actually enjoys each others company and plays the game as a hobby instead of a job, and plays games outside of EQ together (FFXIV, TF2, LoL, etc)

Well that escalated quickly!

On a serious note, thank you for the input. I have been thinking of a couple of different guilds but have decided to wait to check the online population during my play time. BDA having an offpeak group of players/raid team does seem to suit though. Plus Cucumbers and Pullyn left a lasting positive impression when they entered Crushbone during Halloween and handed out pp to newbies who told funny jokes :)

Yea, Cuc and Pullyn are great! And hello from one of the BDA night crew people :)

Wherever you end up, Taken or BDA, just try to enjoy the game and not make it a second job. There's good in everybody despite their tag here. If you see me online feel free to shoot me a tell and maybe we can hang out sometime, I have a couple of alts around your level. Our friend, Oroton, is an Aussie and has lots of alts too.

Glad that Cucumbers and I made a good impression. If you would like to know more about BDA you can feel free to shoot either of us a tell if you see us online or you can also visit our website at http://bregan.guildlaunch.com.

Thanks Jenithia and Pullyn! You may have noticed me lurking around your forums yesterday (or your today, depending where you are)... ;)
