IP Exemption the wait is killing me! [Archive]

Hey,

Been waiting for an IP Exemption for over a month, is that the norm?

Read that its best not to bump the petition but impatient wives want to play elf simulators too!

Exemptions are handled in batches, and it can be over a month at times. It just depends on when you put the petition in and when the next batch is.

Do not bump the thread. Exemption requests are handled from oldest to newest and a bump will cause the request to lose its spot in the line. If a dev replies to your thread with a question you need to respond within a day or the thread will be considered "resolved" without an exemption having been given.

I'm right there with ya... and I've replied to my own thread, but not to bump intentionally but to add another account and beg. Hubby, Son, and myself can't really play together. We have tried VPNs on 2 of the computers but they're causing LDs etc.

Try a VPN setup, see if that works for you. If it's just one, maybe it will be nicer than what happens here. Occasionally it works for us and all 3 of us can go lvl together for a night

If a guide replies to your thread with a question you need to respond within a day or the thread will be considered "resolved" without an exemption having been given.

they should be giving more than a day to relpy, usually a week or so. as far as IP exemption petitions, id say bump once a month if it gets to that point. new guide just got petition forum access, and we are possibly bringing in another guide to the staff, so that should help.

Yeah, my fiancee has been itching to play with my friend and I. Glad to hear an update about it Sirken! If you are still perusing the thread, my petition has my account and hers, but mine already has an exemption. No problems should arise from that I hope?

Ive been slacking in the Ip exemption department, and IM sorry for that. RL has gotten a hold of me. I will try to get on this week and really try to knock them out for people who have been waiting.

Forwarned. When I do IP expemptions I start from the back and move forward. So if you bumped, I may not get to it, since its at my end.

Once I reply to your thread, you have 4 weeks to reply back. If no reply is done in 4 weeks, it gets deleted. I usually do IP exemptions on Saturdays, but the past few weeks have been busy for the staff. I will try to get some done tomorrow, but I can't promise.

Rogean has updated the petition forum announcement with the required information needed. Go check your post and verify all the information is correct.
