Unfortunately druids spend a lot of their gaming time alone if they desire "good" experience.

Once you're in the mid-30's you'd have a good time finding a geared Rogue to duo with, or a bard to low hp kite with. Unfortunately, at 24.. Unless you're in Unrest, probably not many groups for you.

Mistmoore? I was just in there with my druid and there was a pond group with space. Have you tried asking around?

Unfortunately druids are lone wolves, not groupers really. Duo sure, group you sorta get overlapped by other class skills.

oh well..
Everquest just isn't really fun having to solo level the second time around the entire time.

I'm level 45 and I've hardly solo'ed. Heck, I play mostly during off peak time! I find all you gotta do is a /who [level range] around your level and send a tell.

Seconded to lafael - I've seen Lafael providing ports to locals of OT at around 3-6am EST.

All about the aggressiveness to finding a party at lower levels (:

I'm one of the few druids that don't go anon. If you need a port send me a tell, usually I'll go out of my way to port.

With a population approaching 1k+ at peak times I think you aren't trying very hard.

At 24 you're distinctly less useful than a cleric with greater healing or a shaman with canni and regeneration spell. At 29 you get greater healing and you'll find more groups.

/who all monk 22 26

Ask around for a duo partner, then head to SKarana or somewhere equally duo friendly an put these levels behind you.

elephants around KFC and off to the west of KFC in the hills + the occasional dark blue aviak will get you to 26 before things start going light blue, then wooly mammoths in everfrost are smooth sailing all the way to 29+

There are two types of people on this world: Those that join groups and those that form groups.

Getting groups isn't always easy. Sometimes nearly every group in your level range just doesn't need your class. 'Not finding a group sometimes' is pretty classic and it happens to all of us sometimes, regardless of class. I would chalk this up to some poor luck but remember that you can always start your own group!

Druid harmony, snare, and root are very valuable in groups. Head to LoIO and I'll group with you on my 29 Necro.

Exactly. And when there is a group, chances are they're either full or at near max kill speed. You'll get in if and when they need a replacement, and only if you qualify for that position.

Meanwhile a dozen groupable exp camps are free within a 15 minute trip, and a couple tells could get you a chanter and monk in short order.

I believe there's a little bit more that goes into this, because the term "group" can mean different things. Full groups and duo's/trio's. I have found the latter to be much more fun and rewarding, they are easier to form, and also the experience always seems to be better.

My advice to you as a druid... Seek out classes to duo with, then if you want to spice things up add on a third. I'd focus on asking enchanters/magicians/necromancers/shamans. No pet penalty is nice, and heals, snare, ports are great. Duoing with druids gave me a new respect for them as an enchanter.

Hope that helps

There is a ton of off-the-beaten path camps out there are solid for druid + anything really. Druid is one of my favorite classes to duo with on my enchanter because snare trivializes the encounters.

As a 36 wizard, I've only solo'd for about one levels worth of exp since level 16.

If groups are willing to take in a wiz, there are groups to be had

Logged my rogue in yesterday. Oasis was quiet, had maybe 7-8 people in it of various levels. Bear in mind rogues don't solo as well as druids.

Took a boat, went to Unrest...got a group in under a minute after arriving.

Try using /lfg on

You're a druid which means you can literally group anywhere and be there within minutes. At low levels people will certainly take a druid. Especially if the group is lacking snares, sow, or is relying on a shaman or another druid to heal.

You can also start a group or duo with someone. Rogue/Monk/Warrior + Druid fear kiting animals is decent xp with very little downtime. You can even do this solo while waiting on a group.
