Cleric Tactics

Other than heal yourself until you die, what are some good cleric 1 v 1 strategies? From what I understand we're pretty much useless without someone to hide behind.

Our clerics had necrosis pets for their botb. So I suggest nuking the opponent's pet with undead nukes.

I'm not talking about botb, I'm asking about a scenario where I'm getting sweet sweet solo exp and someone tries to gank me. What are my options other than hope to brell that my root sticks before they kill me?

You could... gate? Hah. I mean try and root/stun/nuke but really clerics are for group PvP.

get into a corner, start casting gate.

Depends on gear and class make up. If ur fighting pure melee, ds pot and heal. Hybrid you cant beat. Shm, cure and heal. Druid, heal and dispel. Int caster, dispel them then nuke and heal between nukes.

basiah is pretty badass with cleric, ask him.

Your heals have more mana efficient ratios and faster casting time then all nukes pretty much, so against casters just strip them with dispells and heal yourself.

After you know you have gotten a majority of their buffs start nuking and stunning to avoid gates.

As far as melee go, if its a tank ur best off just levitating up high and taking off. Against rogues and monks levitate up high and get space so they have a hard time hitting you, and use nukes with the extra space.

Key is to utilize your heals excellent mana to hitpoint ratio.

Most times wizards/mages/druids will be oom or close to it and ill still have upwards of 75% because heals are so absurdly mana efficient

outheal wizards

cure shamans

nuke with highest level dd

play with another person.

on a pvp server prob one of the top 3 most important items to have

o yeah and once you begin a spell (nuke) with line of sight u dont have to hold LoS till finish

get alot of kills that way

Chardok ring + ds pots should stack (at least did on live)

I used to pincushion the shit out of rogues that way.

Lava Cudgel jousting will be the go, throwing cloak of piety on for any toe to toe.
