Hello guys,

The purpose of this Thread is to give as much info as we can to the dev's so they can solve once and for all the dreaded TT zone lag issue. Everyday more and more people experience it, so I will ask you to post with your Current location, connection and OS, to see if we can isolate the problem.

I will start Myself

Location: Spain.
OS: Windows 8.
Connection: DSL 20 M
Issue: Client Desync with server in 5 secs after entering TT.

Let's see if we can get this problem solved.

ISSUE: average time allowed in TT is about 1minute, during which I suffer a ping ranging from 3k-10k - desyncs almost instantly - cannot zone out/camp out etc.

When I was in the Middle East I experienced this bug and it never resolved itself. Since I've moved back stateside I experience no lag whats so ever in TT using the same exact same computer, and same instance of EQ that I used in Jordan. I guess the problem lies with connections originating outside of the US.

6 different service providers. all same problem. New installs, old clients, backup p99 clients, about 10-12 different computers.

Also desync on large bard kites: skyfire, BW, OT, plane of fear.

But zoning in to TT is instant 3-5k ping.

Never used to have this problem. Not once, for as long as Ive been on P99 until maybe 12 months ago.

I'll be in Oman, Saudi, Kuwait and UAE in a week for a few months and see if thats any different.

Funny thing is, when i zone into TT, if my latency starts at 240 (which is what i normally get for other zones) i know i'll go up to 1k then 3-6k within a minute.

if it starts at around 600 i know i'm fine and it slowly drops to 240 over the next minute or 2. I'll be fine from then on until i zone out (or camp) and come back

It's totally random how often it occurs. Sometimes i get in first time, other times it takes just a few attempts of closing eq and reloading. Worst case it took an hour of trying to log back in before i got stable

Same issue, as soon as i zone into TT my connection shoots up to 2k MS and i cannot cast spells/camp ect..

Im on an ADSL2+ 24MB connection. No problems so far in any other zones.

The issue for me is that this never used to be the case.

I've played a lot in TT, farmed the cycles, run to seb a hundred times, was bound there plenty, camped PS plenty of times.

Now its useless, what has changed?
Same for AE kites, especially in fear and OT.
