View Full Version : Where to get Titanium?

Hey all! Just found out about this classic server and have been watching streams.

Now I want to give it a go! Going to roll Gnome Wizard, just like my favorite toon way back when (back when I was a noob gamer! Ah those days are gone!).

I was told to come here and ask where to get Titanium, because you are all experts. I can start this Sunday and hopefully level up in time for Velious!

You cant play here without legitimately finding copies of eq titanium in an op shop or on ebay.

and for the sheer fact that 14 years ago we all paid for everquest the first time and are allowed to have a backup copy of it.

Using the search function on the forum with the word "Titanium" would have answered this... I dunno, over 20 times over probably.

Oh my God, is Flowers of Happiness really still around? I had so much fun in that guild during live! Thinking of Soccerlegs... can't remember the others.

The PeyeRitBey titanium does not have a virus or anything? I might download tonight if it is a safe way to get titanium loaded.

Flowers of Happyiness turned into almost TMO lol on Red. Its a dog eat dog world out there.

And for Titanium just rip it off from the web. Nobody buys it trust me. Lets no sugar coat it.

To be fair I musta bought half a dozen copies of EQ in my day, still have nightmares over the amount of CDs used to install these (remember these predate DVD disc capacities.)

To be truly classic we need to bring back HIGH SPEED 56K modems and uncertainty of disconnects when zoning

It didn't predate DVD-ROM, Titanium was 2006. A lot of people had the drives, but I don't remember software really being distributed on DVD much for a while. Honestly it was never a major distribution channel that I ever saw, people started downloading software before it really took off. Of course I haven't bought a computer game since... uhh... maybe 2007 so maybe I dunno!

I can't remember if it was the last version of DoS or the first Windows Edition but one of them had like 19 3 1/2 disks to install it. Pretty crazy. :eek: Just about burned up my drive to install it let alone about 3 hours to do it. :D
