Common Residents Faction

I have been killing orcs for a week now, trying to move from dubious to apprehensive with Common Merchants. Since checking my con, I have killed over 1000 orcs and not moved out of dubious, and have since moved from amiable to warmly with Guardians of Vale.

Is CommonResidents faction bugged or broke?

No, just make sure you are actually with a commons resident. You'd be surprised how many Merchants of Qeynos (and other things) are in the common lands, for whatever reason sony decided on.

The other possibility is your commons residents faction started so bad that you are working your way out of a deep KOS hole and since merchants cannot show below dubious, you just think your faction is not improving.
