Bow of the Underfoot rarity

Based on classic posts (as well as the memory of myself and others), the rarity of this bow is wrong on p99.

Looking through my logs, I have slain thousands of golems across multiple characters doing epics, xp groups and bow/igs farms, I've yet to see a bow drop.

Posts from zam report commonality such that 2 bows would drop in a night, or "1 in 25-30".

The only mention of this bow being rare is by players who statedly only visited this zone for raids.

Having camped the area most densely populated with golems for upwards of 100 hours, I can tell you that drop rates are considerably off.

Ya its pretty redonkulus, ive leveled 3 characters there from 50-60, although not exclusively, and have only seen 2 drop.

8 days here now not one bow over 300 mosb nailed, have otehrs in zone saying soon a si log bows drop liek crazy from golem, kileld over 376 golems in 9 days so thats impossible unles i ame being cheated blatantly by the game

Last time I checked, bows were used in pvp.

Yeah, the drop rate, the loot tables it is on, etc, is shared between red and blue and is handled by the content team (who don't look at the pvp bug forum as much.)

Further research indicates bow of the underfoot dropped roughly 1 in 100 based on magelo tracking. Golems data less prominent than the constructs they were later replaced by. Both seem to indicate a drop rate around 1%.

Of 2299 tracked kills, 24 bows dropped or 1 out of 95.8.

hi dudes,

gonna necro this thread -- I've killed about 300 golems over the last two weeks and had no bow drops. I realize this could be just a real ugly RNG problem, but I just thought I'd post to double check that the bow is still dropping, and that it's dropping from all golems? (I've been killing the one near the entrance, I know it used to drop the bow, but I also know the zone to be a bit funky here and there)

Was right after that point of no return, the mobs at that building. Wasn't there long, just messing around with a guild group IIRC.

I'm just busting nuts because I know the RNG favored me that day :D

yeah no worries, that's the exact golem that I A: got my first bow from, after i'd say 100 ish golems, and that was also probably 6 months ago. I've been killing that same one, going on about 400 now, with no bow. So, I feel like i'm doing everything right still, possibly getting buggered by the RNG, but it'd be really helpful if the devs could have a look just to say "yaw it's still on that loot table" or "hmm, for some reason it wasnt, but it is now" or something!

that actually does help, sorta -- it means that they could in theory have dropped off the other golems. Now, whether anything has changed since then -- a helpful heads up and look at the loot tables to confirm would be massively helpful, because i've been there for like two weeks killing one golem over and over every 22 minutes oh god my life

When I got mine, we got a second one inside of 5 minutes or so. This was from the golems in the tunnel right outside the undead tower.
