It would be really nice to see the changes from the red server improving PvP mechanics (resists, durations, etc etc) imported to the blue server. As most people know, the PvP code existing on the blue server is some old iteration of PvP code that has since been completely revamped and then tweaked on the red server (a work in progress).
The main issue is resist caps and levels - compared to even the previous patch of red with the 95% instead of 98% cap, PvP on the blue server is screwy. I tested a bunch of stuff yesterday and at 160 magic resist, most devastating MR-based effects (like root, snare) landed with ridiculous frequency.
Given Alecta's awesome and continued work on adjusting PvP mechanics, I think merging the red fixes with the blue server would be really enjoyable for we "Purples" (you see how clever I am) and would stand as a great justice in the pursuit of classic!
