View Full Version : Suggested Guilds for Leveling?

Hi All,

You have probably seen me all through the forums lately - Really more fun than actually working at work (love having my own office door :D )

In any case, a group of about 3 of us are just starting out, and we dont really know the culture here on the server but would probably benefit from joining a guild that has a lot of players 15-40 just for leveling purposes and grouping.

We dont want to join the "mass guild" or the "no one really likes you after you are in it" guild.

Suggestions?

As mentioned, Knights Who Say Ni seem to be a pretty friendly guild with good leadership, which in turn promotes a solid culture. They tend to group a lot together, have many toons of all levels and players are on at all hours. They are kinda large in number, so I'm not sure if that fits them in the mass guild category or not. But, solid guild with a good reputation on the server.

Are any of you actually in the guild you seem to be promoting? Just noticing signatures of other guilds

Nope I left my leveling guild <Bregan D'Aerth> years ago. I wouldn't recommend them.

Was in Knights Who Say Ni for a little while, they are huge; they have at least 1 person on the scene in every leveling zone. Great for xping and getting groups anywhere from level 1 on.

Supremacy is also a fairly large leveling guild. Hit up any member in game for an invite.

I'm currently enjoying supremacy. Great friendly guild. Easy to find leveling groups at almost all hours.

There are a lot of options, all fairly sizable. I can't really speak to any guilds but my own but I am assuming you will meet great players in all of them. The server has an overall helpful leveling atmosphere that you should find no matter where you choose to make you home.

For the most part just be glad you found this server :)
Many guilds will serve your purpose.

Now that my Druid is getting higher, I should start looking at joining a guild. My only issue is one that is active during offpeak times, with a sufficiently high and varied crew, as I'm Australia.

Vex Dominus is a great place for leveling up and we have Australians in our guild as well. Plenty of off peak action and leveling as well as casual grouping.

Give us a shot. Contact Felwyn, Matthalas, Zerkos, or anyone with a Vex tag and we can get you on board!

Supremacy is the guild you are looking for.. trust me. you can /who supremacy all when you are online. We'll have more online members.

Currently in 'knights who say ni'
Nice guild with people in most level ranges and very helpful. Lots of 1st chars in the guild too, so lots of people levelling up and rediscovering the game, as well as helpful higher levels to help with buffs/ports and advice! A good guild for 1st chars in my opinion.
Also would recommended 'supremacy' as I have grouped with players from this guild and found them to be friendly and good players!

Supremacy would love to have you, but I've only met awesome people in Ni and VD is a pretty huge guild too.

Can't really go wrong with any of the options, I'd just pick one and roll with it

I'm starting a new guild to rival the Knights Who Say Ni... we shall be called the Knights Who Say Icky-Icky-Icky-Kapang-Zoop-Boing! PST to Peng or Neee-wom in game for info. We are not a hardcore guild ergo Herring is optional. End communication.

This cannot happen.

..... that's my velious plan for the guild name.

Your idea has been sacked.

you think there will be a server restart at Velius? Or perhaps a mirror server that starts at ground zero? I think a chance for the server to start fresh on November 18th (when EQ mac closes) or when velius launches would give lots of people a great opportunity that they wouldnt otherwise have at shaping the community

Wiping the server would most likely piss so many people off that it would kill the game entirely. If they told me today that there was going to be a wipe, I wouldn't continue to play. Would you?

Killed 2 EQLive servers inside a week that's for sure (Mayong 51/50 and Trakanon). Announcing T99 killed red for a while until people realized there was still plenty of good reasons to play red (movelog/merge/etc).

People don't seem to get the concept that if you wipe a server and start again, that somehow the new server will be different... like it wouldn't have a monopolizing raiding guild, or people who want to be the richest on the server, or twinks, or names that will always be taken on day 1 (particularly by scumbags like Dirtnap, who was trying to sell premium names months back).

Who was the first druid/necro/wizard/other class to hit level 50 on P99? Do you care? Nobody cares much for server history unless they had written some of it.

It's like starting a new workbook for maths or English or whatever at school... the first page is neat, then you turn the page and its just the same mess you were writing in the old book ;)
