i have noticed the overwhelming support some other new players/posters have had announcing their debut and asking for help here regarding playing on red. WELL, so just happens i have started here a week or two back and am a mid level shaman. The plan is to have alot of fun in the high end pvp, that's why i came here. And i thought it would be fun to be a shaman. I want to make friends with some uber melee'ers out there and be a pocket shaman to my buddies. I'll be playing full on support style for my pals to wreck our enemies. My plan is to be apart of the resistance in some way to fight Nilly. I want to be a part of the revolution and not just watch it from the sidelines when Nilly is dethrowned.

Dudes is breaching 30 in literally full raw hide/bloodstained tunic and 3wis bracer, and a beetle stinger that I purchased on my own for 81pp off a merchant. I did not have the funds to purchase all of my last spell level's spells. And i won't be able to buy much at 29.

I am seeking help. You will be happy to have a friendly shaman on your server at high levels once i reach there, help me do it! I never forget a favor, people who help me or my friends.

Dood on a sham, at 30, beetlestinger and rawhide, u are in good shape. Most people wear cloth till 50 on their first chars. Start workin for them totemics, its good AC gear and u can p much root rot your way to 50 in it with ease.

shiny bass shield, polished bone braclet, BS tunic. but yeah. i dont have a problem leveling but some items like a bloodstained mantle with 10mr, stuff like that, thats also cheap, thatd be sweet for some hookups or trades from blue. I dont forget my friends, who doesn't want a pocket shaman at 60? because that's what i am there for. I always treat my friends well and im gonna be QUITE the support shaman to help my buddies at high level

Trying to talk down? Sir, on the contrary. Colgate and I are on good terms, infact I am channeling his inner essence with his past items. Do I expect to beat Colgate? No, I don't but does that mean that I can't issue a challenge to him and have some fun? Its a gain I get out of playing this game, its an obstacle, a challenge, a hurdle; probably something your fatass has never gotten over.

I didn't make "the same thread" Im not crying for handouts like the little bitch you are. I simply asked if I could level from 1-40 staying around FoB, since I wasnt familiar with Kunark and issued a challenge to Colgate. I didnt bitch whine and moan about how I cant afford X or Y. An extra 10-20 players (or even 100) wouldn't constitute a market for these items. Especially considering they've been gathering dust on bank alts of people who already have all the droppables they'll ever need.

There is no EC tunnel here, which is really unfortunate. This makes selling items in general a PITA, as you need direct access to a bank for both the buyer and seller. This is obviously an issue when an elf wants to sell to an ogre, etc. You aren't going to see people go through the hassle for a couple hundred plat.

Should just make a special PVP free zone with factionless banker entered by clicking on a torch in EC or something that people can camp all their vendor bots. Kind of like the bazaar without the player vendor stuff.

Your best bet is to camp the shit yourself on red, or wait until you can afford high market items people will travel for.

Yeah bazaar and safe zones, not classic. Why not just an open room in FP with npc's who sell gear for 0,0,0,0 and buy for 0,0,0,0.

Make it some kind of "Knights of Truth" salvation army thing. Though most it's not classic people will say "not classic enough". But this is a typical MUD thing.

Can't argue with the "not classic" thing. My other points are still valid though, not a lot of buying/selling goes on because of both the population and the difficulties with selling. Might improve in Velious where everyone can share a city.
