I have only played on this server for about 1 month now and so far as usual on any server have made some pretty good friends with people as well as enemies. But mostly just friends ;) I have yet to really level a character high enough to become affiliated with any of the top guilds but have started to get to know and become friends with people from both sides(Nihilum/Azrael) but what tends to stick out sometimes is how pathetic people can be sometimes like this morning for example and was just curious if anyone else has had issues with this particular person (Gangbang) whom stated that he "WTB PORT" and me myself just starting here and now have most of my portal spells that I spent pretty much all of my platiunum on pretty much looking to make the money back decided to try and help this guy Gangbang get a port to EJ (must be trakanon spawn time soon) but little do I know I am about to experience a world class Azrael.

So He tells me he is in DL and I am like OK bro! Ill be right there can you meet me by KC? He says yes and that he is gonna give me a cone of the mystics for the port and im like whuuut!? hells yea! being that I still dont have hardly anything for gear I am completely ok with this payment. So i wait for like 10 mins after I zone into KC and he finally gets there and opens up trade and fills the screen up with gear... next thing I know i am LD... Nooo! lol just my luck right? Anyway so I log back in and this dude FD's right in front of me with 4 mobs keep in mind I am only lvl 43 so I scramble for the zone to DL and barely make it as i was in wolf form before LD and did not have a sow buff on. So I make it to DL and hes like "zone back in" and im thinking whuuut the eff at this point so I wait a sec then I zone in and at this point hes all like "port me to now nub" all vulgar with it right so I am like uhhh wheres what you offered me bro wheres the cone you offerd and then we can go and at this point he just sits down and camps doesnt even say anything. So i am like uhhh OK! a little bit bugged out about the whole thing so I ask in OOC who the officers of Az are and people tell me Lite is and so on so I send Lite a message about the whole thing just trying to find out what this guys deal is and to maybe just enlighten him a little bit about how much of you know what this guy is and I guess he must have said something to gang maybe they lol about the whole situation Idk but Gang then logs back online about and sends me a bunch of funny messages like I am the bad one here just thought id share this with you all.

I dont know exactly how to upload the screenshots I took to here it keeps saying the upload failed but thats ok just was curious about Azrael and who they have on thier team because in time I will be looking to apply to a top guild and just looking to see peoples thought and or opinions on people like these who somehow get themselves involved in top guilds.

Your time to pick a side will come if you stick with the server. You'd think the resistance would be bending over backwards to impress anyone 40+ if they ever want a chance.

I do enjoy watching Azrael act like they won the lottery every time a Nihilum player is on the front end of yellow text though. I imagine they actually extract more joy out of this game than the Nihilum players for that reason alone. I guess it's the whole "all the pressure is on the favored team" cliche.

I've not been on Red long, but I've had two bad experiences if you want to call it that, both coming from Azrael players. Not making any judgements, I just point that out to say if Azrael wants a shot at doing anything on Red they should be going out of their way to make favorable impressions on the very limited group of new players that come along. Competition makes for a better server, get your shit together please.

Just assuming based on the general tone/message of your post that you're in Azrael. You can claim ideology you want, but I'm pretty sure the OP wouldn't agree with you after his experience.

Just to be frank, remember you are on the losing side right now. If you want that to change, treating players that in a month may be capable of raiding/pvping at the high end like shit isn't a very efficient way to go about it wouldn't you say?

With this server population you'd be much better served embracing the "everyone against Nihilum" mentality and trying to rally the rest of the server around you. But the way your guild acts now does nothing except to serve Nihilum with constant stream of new recruits that you have to fight against.

I say this because despite the fact the friends I came back to this game to play with are all in Nihilum, I want nothing more than to see some great competition in the end game. What you're doing now is not working and never will. Rebel leaders throughout history always tend to be champions of the people. What I see from Azrael so far is just a (much) lesser version of Nihilum with an inferiority complex and bigger mouths.

If I were part of your leadership I'd tell everyone to cool it in OOC and focus on developing a bond with the level 30-50 population. Chasing Nihilum around while they farm a zone for the thousandth time on their fifth alt is not a productive use of your time.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but as it stands you are no threat to Nihilum. The only threat they face is fracturing internally or boredom/new games stealing a significant part of their player base.

My experiences with Az while leveling up were equally horrible, they love to trumpet "JOIN AZ TO BE THE HEART OF CHANGE" but I'm not interested in joining up with a bunch of people who act like asses and then shed the blame for server problems as hard as they can and say "DEAL WIT IT" while putting on their cool kid sunglasses.

I started here because I missed mass pvp, and when I first got here not long ago, Az basically didn't exist, and I was ready to fight with whoever showed the first signs of life for a two guild big scale war situation, so this made my experiences extra disappointing in the long run.

Andis made me laugh particularly when saying "we don't act like this" when I have first hand accounts of him being just total ass since i've been here leveling up, all while I was trying to be cool with him and trying to make some friends on the box. I'm sure Andis is a cool guy in guild or whatever, but my experiences with him have not demonstrated any of that.

Four great posts at the top of page 3 showing what retarded denial looks like. Backing up a guy named Gangbang that just joined the guild and then make the claim the OP is disguised and really a Nihilum alt.

It is true, that ideally, if the level of class in both guilds were equal the right thing to do would be to join the resistance. Who knows what forces are behind this that make Azrael members act like dip shits all the time. It could be drugs, immaturity, etc. as people claim or maybe it is being shit on for 2 years, I don't know. There are members in Nihilum that may be acting different in game if they weren't being showered with pixels.

In either case, as a new player to the server, it is hard for them to make the decision to enjoy their playing time less and join the guild that would be best for the server as a whole. You are asking them to join a team, because it is better for the server, when through their personal experience are the people who have treated them the worst.

Maybe it's just easier to play nice on the server as a Nihilum when everything has been going your way for 2 years. Who knows how members of Nihilum would lash out if they weren't in the guild getting all of the pixels. The jew bags and nerd ragers would surface in their guild as well.

I tend to agree, but empires are toppled all the time. The way it's done is by doing it better than whoever is on top, like how Redbox bent Blockbuster over the railing.

The issue is Azrael thinks on a linear level while Nizzar is making long term plans. People made fun of the whole Nizzar putting a muzzle on players but guild appearance obviously makes a huge difference, look at the OP. You may have some good players that can get more done in 5 hours than someone else does in 10 hours of game play, but this dip shit Gangbang may have just lost you new blood that is willing to put in 30 hours a week for your guilds benefit.

I saw four new players last night in field of bone, that is one starting area, with players that have never played on this server. Fizban was talking on /ooc from LoZ, someone that knows PvP and is already in his 30's. These guys might have 2-3 experiences with each end game guild before they make the decision of what guild to join. Does Azrael make it a concern of theirs to make sure their members act right? It doesn't take much, just educate your members a little on how to win and what helps the guild.

Yep, exactly what I'm talking about. You can't afford to act elitist when you aren't elite. Nihilum has their share of people who talk non stop in OOC too, but they tend to be of the weird/spammy chat variety and not so much shit talking. It doesn't help when members have post after post in here of how much of a hard ass you have to be to join. Let's be honest, any guild with even the lowest level of aspirations here would take any warm body with a 52+ character. Beggars can't be choosers. Your high horse is actually a blind donkey with whatever the donkey equivalent of downs syndrome is. Get off it.

A single guild getting most content and therefore PvP power is untenable. Most of the opposing forces aren't interested in gear and it's just PvP. The problem is you can't really contest if you're undergeared vs the opponents. That needs to change if Nihi is going to be broken.

Wasn't around for any of those other guilds, so I have no insight as to why they failed. I imagine many of the same reasons as the current resistance.

The failure was that you have to play the blue game to win on red. Strong raid leaders and a cohesive force. The only guild that's been consistent in those departments has been Nihi.

No one said there weren't good players in Azrael. Basically just a mismanagement in handling the assholes. Perfect example, once again, is when Nizzar doesn't allow people to talk in /ooc. Instead of trying to clean up the mess Azrael needs to prevent it from happening.

Everyone on here realizes it only takes 1 or 2 people to stop you from joining a guild, no matter how nice the others are. There are nice people on both sides, preventing the number of douche bags while also growing your guild as much as possible is a very thin line and tough to do.

Azrael - work more on keeping your scum bags like gangbang in order. Let people know your guild is a fun place to be but at the same time has a mission and won't tolerate people hurting the vision.

You don't get it, Nihlum vs Azrael has nothing to do with it. I'm talking server politics. How you appear to the new blood coming through. Most good deeds on this server have a hidden agenda. Nihilum plays the political game better. Azreal needs someone smart in their guild.

I think this post pretty much sums up why you've failed up to this point. I'll go ahead and type up a summary of it for everyone:

We say we don't care about winning, but we really do. Any person/guild more successful than us has no life. We complain about the server being dead but are one the main reasons.

Server has been around 2 years can't say that without a frame of reference like most of us that have been here have. Both sides have done pretty bad things that make your story seem like nuthin.

So I was on tonight and apparently some shit went down in OS. Failed CRs or something on Nihilum's part. Azrael was getting a kill every 20-30 minutes and every time yellow text went off stating an Azrael kill it was like 10 fucking minutes straight of them talking shit. Seriously, like they won the lottery or something that is how excited they were. One guy in particular (Lethdar) wouldn't shut the hell up. Such a shame, the original Lethdar was a friend of mine from RZ/SZ, but this new guy is a douche bag.

On the flip side, I didn't see a single Nihilum player say a goddamn thing in OOC. Maybe it's because they were getting owned today or what, but there was no trash talk or anything.
