This is the patch notes from 2001/05/08 concerning this:
Divine Aura and spells of that type (Divine Aura - cleric, Divine Barrier - cleric, Kazumi's Note of Preservation - bard, Harmshield - necromancer, Quivering Veil of Xarn - necromancer) will now prevent the caster from being stunned when hit for their duration.

Someone else want to double check the patch notes to make sure he is not leaving out changes detrimental to his guild?

Confused. It says it will prevent them from being stunned. This means that DA will provide stun protection.

Which implies that before this patch, it did not. We are at a point in the timeline before this patch. So nizzar is asking for more classic feels
Already reported on Blue over a year ago with supporting evidence.
