New player needs some advice.

I played sullon from day 1 and til midway luclin and quit. PvP-eq is the only eq i know so thats why i want to play on this server.

The population seems rather small(at the hours im looking at anyway) is there any point at all making a non-solo class, because im expecting the hard earned exp will be lost at some points due to griefing and what not... and getting groups is probably hard?

I guess making a druid or necro to get some stuff to help my real main level works but just sounds extremely boring-_-

Is there any guilds that accepts newbies so you get some sense of not being so alone early?

Classes to solo and farm - enchanter, necro, druid, mage

Classes you can solo to end game without great gear - above classes, wizard, bard, monk, cleric

There are only a few you need to stay away from, knight classes, ranger, warrior, rogue.

Try <Neriak Strip Club> really good group of people there. Make what ever class you want! really no need to group until you get higher however I would be glad to group with yoU! you will find the majority of the people here are actually very nice and helpful. Can't speak in OOC till level 10 that is really the hardest part of the server. after that its smooth sailing. There is actually a section for PVP guilds if you want to take a look. I have little plat but if you want put me on friends list shoot me a tell (CRABBERS) and I would be glad to help you get your level 4 spells as it can be pricey! the population seems to be growing. so don't even give that a 2nd thought! See you in game! :cool:

Same here... I still can't understand Blue. You will notice a lot of the new red players are Blue players who are looking for more...

I have been playing for about maybe 3-4weeks now. I tried on blue and was shot down by pretty much every player. Come to Red and was greeted with open arms. :eek:

By the way, just incase... If you have anyone else in the same home trying to play with you, you have to get an "IP exemption" this could take up to a month so if this is your case you may want to go ahead and apply for that as well. It's under forums and petitions.

So if you are anything like me and trying to get your wife or brother or whomever to play do that now. its been about 2 and 1/2 weeks so far for me and the wife is losing interest. LOL

Spell money, cracked staffs dawg, I just lvled up a cleric to 9 raw about 2 days ago. Didn't have a problem buying all the spells. I'm beginning to think this spell money thing is just a myth.

Yeah basicly just class advice, but i decided to start a ikky monk already:)

Word, monk life is a simple one. Get those weight reduction bags if you ever want buy items instead of loot them. Oh yeah, camp jboots yourself too and goblin earring, and others. Ya might get lucky on some hand outs here and there but you will be poor as a monk.

If that's what you want to play tho, I totally recommend it. I took the other route, lvled up a caster to fund my melee. Nothing but regret.

Play whatever is fun. Have an alt to play when u are plugged or forced to camp. Soloability will make life easier but not if ur trading it for fun.

Monks are great ) ez to gear for pve 2. and some cheep pvp gear but a little restricted.

Can solo to 44+ with intimidate nps

hopefully theres some druids levelin though that woudn't mind a pulling/tanking partner for dungeons etc though.
