Everything about the quest works fine for me except the very last part, where you hand in "A Sealed Letter" to Chesgard Sydwen (in South Qeynos, at -280, -490). I received no items, although I did receive exp.

Perhaps your inventory was full?

If my inventory were full, wouldn't the item(s) have been placed onto my cursor or fallen to the ground?

After reading the comments, I see equal numbers of comments about 'i got x". So I would conclude that it's a 25% chance for each item.
