Help me get my sister to play R99 on her Mac?

I've been trying to get my Sister to play R99/LoZ for months. She lived 100s of miles away from me atm so it's been VERY hard to get the EQEmu Everquest program to her.

My Cousin went to visit her last week & I gave her a copy of the program we use to log in to R99 on a flash drive to give to my Sister. So now she has the program but I talked to her on the phone yesterday & all of a sudden I find out she got rid of her PC recently & only has her Mac now.

I have no idea how to make it work on a Mac & I have no way to get to her house anytime soon. I'm going to have to try to help her get it working over the phone now I guess.

If anyone knows info about getting Red99 working on a Mac or has a link to info, I'd appreciate it.

Best bet is have her google how to set up Bootcamp. Crossover is completely broken on P99 now and Wine is super glitchy/difficult to set up (as you have to piece together 3-4 guides as several are dated.)

@Retti/Agatha I knew some of you guys would say that ROFL! :D I think though it is better for everyones health if I don't give out her contact info. She got married 2 years ago to a Big Strong Football player guy & he has a lot of Big Strong Football player Friends. So hitting on her is NOT SAFE! lol :p

My sister in not a video game person sadly, I REALLY wish she was! It will sadly be like pulling teeth to get her to play even 2 or 3 times a month. She would spend most of her free time going out to clubs or pubs. Maybe I can get her husband to play some but he's more a sports person & he already said he's only free on the week ends & that's Football time so between the 2 of them I think 5 or 6 days a month is the Most I'd be able to look forward to at best.

I'm sure you're trolling, Nirgon. I want to defend because some people take these trolls serious lol

I have had the same problem myself, my sister has a mac and I've attempted to set it up with her so we could play together, to no luck in the end (which is okay cuz now she is in school and wouldn't play anyways, lol) although I never installed bootcamp so that is probably the way to do it. Seems like people posted solid advice on solving the problem in this thread though. Good luck getting it going!

Haven't played much lately, although I did sign on yesterday for a bit! was no one from the guild on, I was afraid everyone had quit :(

Hey Daemin, good to see you :)

It's funny that your sister had the same Mac problem & now also can't play because of school. My sister works at a University & they give employees a big discount on tuition. So she decided to get a Masters degree & hasn't been able to do much of anything because of work & school the last 2 years. Right now she's getting certified as a Physical Fitness Trainer for some reason. I have no idea why since she already has that business masters degree but in a couple weeks she'll be done with that & then hopefully I can get her to play EQ once in a while. If not, there's always her husband who seems interested in playing sometimes on the week ends.

Most of the guild has either decided to merg with Flowers or are taking a break waiting for the Teams server. I've been playing 2 or 3 days a week lately but half the time on LoZ or that Cool blue server I found that might change to PVP sometime in the future.

If you get to log in later tonight maybe you can help Serena & I finally finish a quest we've been working on for weeks. We're going to need Serena to do it & she won't be back at her place until 8 or 9pm EST. If we can't do it today, Serena is also free Sat & Sunday night this week. If you're on between 8 & 11pm EST today or Sat or Sunday maybe you can help but totally ok if not too hah.
