I have attempted to complete the Scaled Mystic Helm quest twice now, and both times the NPC doesn't acknowledge the turn-in or provide a reward, and no experience is given. No quest completion fanfare plays. In essence, the NPC simply eats the items.

The NPC in question is Shezlie Furscale in East Cabilis. I am absolutely certain I did the quest correct, as I verified it through her dialogue and the Wiki. I turned in a Sapphire (Purchased from a vendor), Bargynn's Digger, Sythrax Building Plans, and a Banded Helm, all at the same time in the same trade window.

The first time this happened, I submitted a petition to have the quest reverted. This petition was just completed, and I verified the details of the quest and turned everything in once again. The result was the same: No reward, no acknowledgment of a completed quest. I can only conclude the quest is bugged, as both Allakhazam and the P99 Wiki confirmed the details.

You used a regular banded helm right? not a large or small one? Ive seen these for sale so the quest was atleast working at one point.

You turned in "a sapphire" which is dropped by the skeletons in kurns.

You need to turn in "sapphire" which you buy from jewelry merchants or receive as a drop.

That's awesome Nilbog told you what you did wrong! Back in the day you would have heard: "We've looked into it and the quest is working as intended"

Wooow, hahah, that never occurred to me and I knew it didn't work with that. The saddest part is that Sirken returned everything to me after I petitioned about it, and then I promptly turned it in again, wrong gem and all. D'oh!
