I can't get the EQ client to load while I have my display settings set to "extend these displays" in windows 7. If I change it to "show desktop only on 1" it works fine. If I load it up under the previous setting and switch to the other the client blacks out on me.

Any idea how I can have eq running on one monitor and still use my desktop on another?

You have to use EQ in windowed mode. Go in and set your screen size to match resolution. can also use WinEq too.

I think the issue may have something to do with not all of the monitors being the same dimensions/resolution perhaps? Anyone have experience with this?

It's not a dimension/reso problem. I've tried too many times on the same monitors to get EQ to work like that. It also never worked well at all if I had eq on my secondary monitor.

I run 2 different size/resolution monitors and EQ works fine for me playing in windowed mode.

Hmm do you run eq on the smaller dimension/reso monitor?

Higher one but i can drag my eq window to other monitor and it works just fine. hell i can have EQ split between the monitors.

my monitor resolutions are 1920x1080 and 1440x900. Here is my part of Eqclient.

[VideoMode]
Width=800
Height=600
WidthWindowed=800
HeightWindowed=600
WindowedWidth=1280
WindowedHeight=720
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0

EQ only takes up like 70% of the screen on my 1920x1080 screen which is fine with me cause i can run teamspeak on side and not have to use the glitchy overlay plus if i change it to full screen size it just looks too big to me.

Ok so you eq dimensions are smaller than your smaller monitor. Ill give that a try. Thanks for the info.
