After I got fed up with force, and got booted, I had 2 choices in my mind of guilds to join.

Choice A) was Azrael, led by Lite and choice B) was Nihilum led by Nizzar. The following is the reasoning I used to make my decision.

Choice a) was led by someone who doesn't mind cheating and doing everything in his power to win, including 2-boxing, RMTing, spreading lies about people and bullying people to get what he wants. The leader of Azrael had a record of quitting when the going got tough, which I saw first hand. Having been in Force, I had pvp'd against Azrael before, and saw that a lot of their members were scum bags. Azrael also had an inner circle, just like force did that the guild leader favoured over other members, which I didn't know if I would be able to penetrate. I did have many friends at the time in this guild which were encouraging me to join, but I wasn't sure.

Choice b) was led by someone who I didn't know much about. Obviously I had heard bad things from friends and in OOC, but I didn't quite believe all the propaganda after reading the Nihilum forums on my friends account. My experience vs Nihilum in force was relatively good, as they showed respect towards people who put up a good fight and gave respect back towards the. Nihilum seemed to get things done instead of circle jerking in yeti caves like the other option, so that was appealing. I figured if I was going to invest time in this server, I wanted a stable reliable guild.

After spending a week raiding in sky with Lite 3 boxing half the raid, I made my choice. After making my choice, 90% of my friends in Azrael showed their true colours towards me, confirming I made the right choice. Two weeks later the guild leader of Azrael goes MIA as he has in the past and the guild goes on hiatus.

Another deciding factor was a conversation I had with Agatha. He knew me sorta well and suggested I head to Nihilum, as he knew how I wanted to play and what my needs in a guild were. I have heard many people have had the same conversation with him and he continuously gives the same advice to people.

A lot of friends told me that Nihilum is ruining the server, but from what I could see it was the cheaters / boxers that were ruining the server. I came to realize that the people that were saying that Nihilum was ruining the server were just butt hurt that Nihilum was ruining their chance to get pixels, which in my opinion, is not ruining the server. In my opinion the people that are ruining the server are the cheaters, the boxers, and the shit talkers. We all know where those players are residing right now.

I am glad I made the choice I did, as Azrael continues to show their true colours by constantly training / exploiting / boxing continuously and being sore losers. I am very happy in Nihilum, and have never seen any of the cheating I have seen in the week I spent with Azrael.

If you want a good red99 experience with good folks who actually care about you, join Nihilum.

If you want to experience red99 with Azrael, be prepared to be constantly angry, butt hurt and turn a blind eye on the cheating that occurs in that guild. Also be prepared to go on long MIAs since the guild leader and leadership is completely unreliable.

I was recruited by Keto into the Gfay group of Holo. I endured about 24 hours of guildchat with Starbright in it (Cast) before I decided these people aren't going anywhere if they are letting someone like that lead anything.

I saw Nizzar and recognized him from SZ goodie team, which is a ballsy roll to make on that server, Lovely was lighting up Holo, so I decided I'd like to light up Holo too. I switched sides and smoked the unorganized Holo off the server.

Since then I've just remained loyal, even when I'm not playing, I'm happy to post in support of them, because the truth is they are adults and play like adults, and as someone who played original eq from beta to luclin Rallos to Sullon in my college years, I am now in my 30's and prefer the company of people who aren't complete pill-head junkie degenerates.

I did for quite awhile, Hate to admit old HB is right on a few things. Force were good guys, I had fun ganking them during the free for all that took place in early summer. Then got in TS with 'em and had a good time in my short stay in Classic.
