Is boxing legal now?

The blatant boxing on red99 since amelinda left / was deposed is pretty out of control. We currently have a guild literally boxing sky raids at the moment. Personally, I think boxing should be legal, my only issue with it is when some people are allowed to and others aren't. It seems like boxing is not enforced anymore given that you have people streaming themselves boxing. Can we get an official ruling so I can start boxing my chars at fungi king? It's like a server full of Ruthbaders at the moment in bear pits / sky / tranix / every azrael raid. Thanks.

We take this server seriously and abide by all the rules on this server. We are trying to put out a positive front for server health unlike other guilds on this server. Anyone boxing in azrael will be dealt with accordingly.

One day in pvp Controla and Monkye were clearly being 2boxed. Twerk was there to witness, it was purely silly.

When called out in /say after 3-4 minutes of sidestepping the rogue and watching it pause a second, keyboard turn, run straight, then stand still while i sidestepped and Controla started a dispel Controla zoned and plugged at 100% and Monkye ran off.

Boxing happens all over, it's not an Azrael thing or a Nihilum thing or an Arthuria thing. It just happens, population is low, people starting out benefit 10fold by 2boxing than trying to do it legit.

Don't have to look hard though, in nearly every stream Lite is plainly boxing. Every time its been mentioned (http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?p=1118845#post1118845) he has deleted the videos or trimmed out the part where its blatantly obvious (sebilite protector video wru?).

All the infractions aside, legalizing boxing would help r99. Its one thing to outlaw it on a popular blue server where there are groups to be had and no way for players to really contend with a single player monopolizing content with boxing, but on a pvp server we have countermeasures to deal with such things. A player boxing would still need other players to help them hold down a spawn if someone contested them because its laughably easy to kill a single player boxing with even 2 people.

Can't keep both clerics interrupted with zone hopping and healing each other, and not being able to resist cleric nukes with 160 MR on this server. Not sure what Cyrexx was doing, I was inside he was outside.

Wouldn't bother boxing during pvp, it's not beneficial. I've seen Lite doing it and if anything it just results in more deaths for his boxes.

Here's something to consider. There's a few people out there like myself... because we have hardcore Real Lives with hardcore real life shit, we like to sometimes escape all the hardcoreness of real life into a nerdy ass recreation of the fantasy game EverQuest. Even though we may sometimes play for hours on end, hardcore real life often pops up and we have to step away from the computer sometimes, we don't have the luxury of the hardcore red99s who have 5 gaming computers, IT jobs and endless amounts of time to hardcore EQ, boxing leet pixel camps and running EQ platinum hedge funds... I'm not completely opposed to boxing but I also don't wanna be forced to spend my hard earned money to buy an upgrade to my shitty laptop (instead of allocating my funds towards becoming a rockstar and keeping the man off my back) just to have a shot at playing this silly server. This is a total joke, Yes I live with Agatha. I never even once tried looking at the 'super secret' officer forums he had access to because it was nothing special. Next thing up, The "RL numbers" were on a batphone list, of which the entire 30+ people receiving it could view if they were not stupid. Why in the hell would either him or I care about spam calling people? I have your phone # decan, We spoke one of many times on the phone when I called to inform you about a raid and you said ok you were about 15 minutes away from home. You logged into teamspeak all the time on the way from home via phone. I would like to know who was forced to change phone #'s because their phone was spammed by azrael or who ever, If this is true and a certain person did this I want to know to take action because that isn't cool.

Do not even type another word about this type of situation, I had admin privs on classic teamspeak. That means I pulled the entire log set(mostly to verify people for the new TS via same IP for access, But also knowing one day something like this would pop up) when I left, start to end including my own chats with people I have logging enabled for. "My paladin needs 58 before BotB PLEASE pl me ill do anything", prior to that lots of "How about some bard kites for my ranger?" From the day Classic started, to the day I stopped using it.

We take this server seriously and abide by all the rules on this server. We are trying to put out a positive front for server health unlike other guilds on this server. The fact that they arn't and don't see anything wrong with it is exactly why this server has gone to shit. Red has been taken over by blue's who knew how to play this particular server's "code" before red even opened, came here with the intent to just farm pixels because the line on blue is to long.

Nizzar openly bragging about luring members away and into his guild through pixel showers, not fighting us on equal terms, using soulfires and trak teeth to triple click down our healers when they have 18 to our 12. The guild is out of hand and unfortunetly due to this server not being set up properly, they have used it to there advantage to subvert the whole idea of a pvp server and turned it into there own pixel palace with no TMO to compete with.

Throw in nihilums highest ranking members blatantly exploiting and mq use. and this stuff is just like mind boggling. I used MQ on vztz, anyone who has ever used MQ can tell what MQ use looks like. i have ignored this shit forever because i have pretty much realized hey nothing is ever going to get done about this stuff so fuck it. I honestly don't know the solution, but i could name a few things that would bandaid some shit up, a GM with MQ use experience, because it's not hard to get somone to make MQ compile with different offsets but its not hard to spot the MQ users because its really blatant. another couple GM's that will rotate all the big fight.

I don't see the reason why you guys are so hesitant to recruit GM's, just do it, and have sirken in charge of just watching them and not enforcing any rules. There is gotta be some kinda way to watch the logs of the GM's.
