Got a little hectic 2 guilds formed and those not in those guilds had to gate non stop and run to the safe zone and heal

Sorry you had a limited experience. What you did was organized group pvp.

If you had stuck around, the server gathered there forcers and ended up running us out of zone. We regrouped and the GM spawned CT in Crushbone, and we all died.

There are 4 guilds on this server. It is evolving.

Yes 4v1 is bad un organized make friends, everyone seemed to work together and not attack each other to take on the group that was set up to pvp.

There is also unrest if you wanna hang out with your wang out and avoid the groups. Logging in during prime time, making a warrior not fixing your aa's and running at 6 players all sitting down sounds frustrating.

I saw Giovanni sitting on orc hill as a 60 nec

he resisted 3 out of 4 sunstrikes and a draught of ice, I gated and logged off.

never played against a wizard with manaburn, so i have no idea what the spell effect looks like

but that spell is a 5 second cast and, at full mana, will kill basically anyone in the current gear set that's available

on a chaotic server like that where you're constantly fighting people, it's really not going to take any skill to levitate up high as a wizard, pick a target, and get a free manaburn kill without anyone even noticing you

Why would the devs take notes on that server. Abacab already made the server and people that enjoy that are playing it. The devs on this server have a different vision. Obviously everyone likes something different, which is why there are so many servers.

Project 1999 happens to be the type of server that attracts the most people long term. Who here can say with a straight face that crushbone pvp server will be around in 2 months?

What era are the spells / abilities? Also, if manaburn is in, how many AAs do you get, and are they fixed or does the player get to spend them?

Are there only two zones, one safe / one battleground (crushbone), or is it the whole EQ world, but you can only PvP in crushbone?

What do you use the coins / tokens for?

Can you play on both this server and R99, or does it screw up your spell files etc?

Trolling aside i think Olscratch is the worst player i've ever played with on LoZ, VZTZ or P99.

Spells are up to luclin including ancient's
whole Eq world is there we killed talendor other night attempted CT..Majority of the people just sit in tutorialB (starting point) or CB/unrest. It is better to find a partner/grp hardly any 1v1 matches unless specifically asked for.

Once you get a few of the items from the tokens you will be at 200-230 at which you resist a lot more, if it does land it wont last long. Get yourself a manastone to break the ones that to stick.

Was a fun server to mess around on. All in all, it is just one group sitting at CB ZL and ganking whoever zones in. Cool for a few hours, but after that it's eh. At least Kings and Bandits PvP server had custom PvE content etc, not just 2 zones. BTW whats the point in having those mobs in Unrest and what not? Killed a few after I got some pvp to see if they dropped anything but 3-4 mobs later nada but like 2-3 plat.

PvE in one zone adds some element of progression and zone control, if it was just Crushbone and the same ole 5v1 at Zoneline the server would burn out in about a week; giving people something to fight over keeps things interesting so it's not just a rotating character select of manaburning wizards and machine gunning rangers with trueshot.

That's the appeal of a battleground server like this. If you let people grind for a gear advantage, you'll have 5-10 hardcore people doing that and everyone else quitting when they realize they have to grind to stay competitive. Ditch the Luclin era stuff. Scale all the gear/resists back to endgame Kunark/ mid-range Velious. Make resists more classic. Nix the idea for PvE. Add in other zones to battle in so people can spread out for honor duels/organized team fights.

With a little effort and organization it could be really cool and would probably attract dozens of players a night at least until the Teams launch. Without it will just turn into a handful of hardcores very quickly.

Server was pretty fucking spot on, until a shit of faggots like yourself sit on lvl 1 boxed bind point farming PvP coins for 5 hours straight. Ruined it a little. If not for your faggatory and exploitations to get an EDGE in pvp when I still cap you in worst gear. Takes some fun out.

I still play but we lost a few in the wipes. Unrest was fun. But having too many pvp zones was rough. Unrest was kiters and joust heaven. I did enjoy Sniping noobs with AIm3 and Endless Quiver with my NToV bow. Machine Gun Kelly up on the Hedge.
