I don't understand this server has been on life support a few months after it opened. The exploits, then they banned a bunch of people, and did not ban some people, and then it's been sub 200 ever since.

You could just tell people that red99 ended, and whats currently up is just a beta they're using as they test different parts of the future teams99 code.

Not sure why people favor a winter break release :( people with lives don't like playing EQ during the holidays. A fall release or even January release would probably be more favorable. I honestly think January would work better... Remember r99 dropping numbers by the hundreds after Christmas? 2-3 months after release people took a 2 week break for the holidays and never came back because the grind was too bad. Even though I'd favor the soonest release because I'm playing no games ATM realistically January would work best. Also that doesn't rush the devs. We definitely could use a beta though. Make the beta server discord perma death with super amazing accelerated xp rate/max 50 in a few hours. Would satisfy us til server is ready xD

Back in the day the teams were. Humans Erudite Barbarian vs. H Elf, W Elf, 1/2 Elf vs. Gnome Dwarf Halfling vs. D Elf Troll Ogre.

I loved that combo of teams although it does make for an overpower system if you keep it to a classic, Pre Kunark ruleset. Even after Kunark, evil is overpower with Iksar.

In Tallon Zek the teams ended up really becomming Light vs Dark. ALl the light teams vs. the DE, ORG TRL.

I hope they dont let that happen this time around. If there are 4 teams then none of them should be able to group, trade, chat, etc..

I wasn't referring to how many people they had. Azrael out numbers Nihilum 99% of the time now. It looks like Sundays are the only days Nihilum even logs on.

Just talking about needing GMs to watch the fights. I hate bringing bans into a PvP fight because of stupid shit like training. If you can do it in game without any kind of hacks it should be legal. Exploiting, training, etc., take advantage of whatever the game allows you to do in my opinion.

Levels matter, resist gear on this server, not so much. Once resists are fixed it will be a lot bigger problem for you guys.

If they don't make changes to the resists you guys should be good once you all hit 60, gear really isn't a big deal for the most part. Melee weapons, wands and teeth are the only factors.
