Very sad news. I would of loved it more than anything if he got to learn behind the G.O.A.T. Tom. Brady

i disagree...there's not much he can actually learn from tom yet because Tom shouldn't be teaching him quarterback fundamentals.
maybe if tebow actually had some decent accuracy, brady can share his wisdom on schemes and making the 'right play'. what's the use if tebow can't even get the ball to the receiver. remember that game against the giants and he throw a fade route only to underthrow it horribly and straight into the CB's hands?

He's had some abysmal throws this per season. Bt all he does is win! The team was 3-0 the games he did play!! I'm just a big fan of the guy he's the best player I've ever seen in college football, better than Reggie bush. (I'm only 23). And there's this part of me that wanted to see the bow start for the patriots if Brady went down

He wasn't even the best player on that Florida offense (Harvin, the good Pouncey, Hernandez). Stop buying into the media hype.

Wtf did you watch him play? I've ne'er seen someone takeover a Mae like that since bush. 26tds throwing and 24 running one year? Right? Or am I making that up. That's ridicullus
Tebow literally is a trash NFL quarterback. Dude needs to get moved to tight end or something.

I'm no coach so I don't know whats so bad about his throwing motion. Clearly though these coaches are abuncha min/max'ers because Tebow has a 0.10 sec longer throwing motion than most QB's. Lol gimmie a break. He won games and made the playoffs on a team that was destined for failure.
What would you rather have in EQ? Someone with better dps gear (Sanchez) or someone with better dps (Tebow)?

Min/maxers vs. min/maxers. That 1/10th of a second makes a huge difference between a DB not being able to get to a ball and putting 2 hands on it. And yes, his release takes too long.

Exaggeration found here. I guess Kyle Orton's release was worse right? Cause after all Tebow replaced him and immediately started winning games. And then he got to QB for the Jets.... Oh wait Min/Maxers said Sanchez has a better chance to win. BAM! Butt Fumble! Seasons over. Grats.

I think you'd be hard pressed to find any coaches who would disagree with the part of the text you bolded. 1/10 of a second is huge in most professional sports.
Do you think the only difference between Tebow and Orton is their respective throwing motions? Tebow brought a lot to the table that Orton didn't. If I had to pick a player in the NFL who would have to be good at ANY position, Tebow would be damn near the top of the list. However, quarterback is a very specialized skillset which I (and many NFL people) think Tebow lacks. When he stepped in for Orton he was something different that teams weren't used to, but other teams soon found ways to gameplan for him to make him ineffective. His slow release makes it hard to compete passes in windows, so as a result his throws were all out routes/comeback routes/deep bombs v. single coverage. His accuracy wasnt great either, so he had a low completion % but few interceptions due to the selection of throws he made / routes that were run.

you don't think small little numbers matter? You know the play last season where flacco threw the ball 58 yards in the air to jones for the TD in the game vs broncos. You know because that game was in denver is the only reason that play happened. the altitude made the ball travel 2 yards further on that throw. That throw 2 yards shorter would have been intercepted by the DB that "misplayed" the ball. Small little things matter and 1/10 of a second on a release is big. watch sports science sometime to see.

He won a playoff game. No one "figured" it out and he wouldn't ever be ineffective because he runs like a full back. Teams don't wanna buy-in on him because with all the running he would have to do he would eventually get seriously injured. He may not be an "NFL" QB but he can win games at the QB position doing it his way. I think it's more exciting to watch a running QB than a pocket QB.
Also, lets face it. Wide outs don't wanna play for a running QB. If their stats go down, the min/maxers won't give them that big contract they deserve. The NFL will slowly change into a running style QB and then the media will say it's the best new thing. And people like you will jump on that boat and be a huge fan of the next Tebow.
The problem is he's not a running QB. Running QBs are generally known for being excellent runners AND being able to throw the ball. Tebow just is not an accurate passer.
The gimmicky run shit eventually fails/failed when the player only has the single threat.
Just because he occasionally hit a nice bomb over the top doesn't mean he was a good passer. He could not complete anywhere near a sufficient percentage of his passes which equates to "not good".

Tebow's biggest problems are that God isn't real and Jesus doesn't love him.

So what if a QB's completion % is 40% but every ball he completed went deep for a TD. Hall of fame passer this guy. Shattered Brady's record by 30 TD's. The point is, stats are deceiving and should be seen as such. I like to watch football and you guy's prolly watch highlights and sports science.
I'm done. The game is fixin to start. You should watch it.

He lost 4 of his last 5 games as a starter. The last game of the season against KC he went 6/22 passing.
So you think people just don't want to play him cause the receivers won't make as much money? It's all some sort of conspiracy? The offense under Tebow just wasn't much to write home about. The first 5 games that season under Orton they averaged between 20-21pts a game, with Tebow they averaged about the same.

its not the time, its the motion. he throws the ball like an asshole (ie: winds it up like a baseball) and just BEGS DEs to swat it. i would never let tebow QB for my team.. unless i was in buffalo. theres no way tebow can make buffalo worse, and i feel that only god can help the bills. so meh

Orton is not a mental midget that cant make correct choices with the ball. Orton does not throw the ball into the ground every single time. Orton was a game manager like pennington, Tebow is media hype that a couple NFL teams fell for. Denver did better with Tebow because Tebow was a better leader and was able to motivate the team to player better for him. the team had no faith in Orton, and these players nowaday dont put their bodies out there for just anyone.. remember "For who? For what?" (if u dont remember "For who? For what?" you're too young to have NFL opinions).

I don't know what the big argument is over his throwing motion. The real topic of discussion is that Tebow isn't bright enough to play QB at the professional level. NFL is a man's game and college defensive schemes cannot touch the NFL's. There is a steeeeeeep learning curve for QB's to be successful professionally and Tebow isn't a very bright person. I am judging this off his interviews and post game...i think the guy said "very excited" over 60 times when he was interviewed for coming to NYJ.

Every single professional sports organization in the nfl does not want this guy. Yet you master observer of football talent are trying to justify his complete garbage play. Wake up dude I'm sorry if your a Christian and he was your hero but the dude is complete trash nfl QB and isn't wanted anywhere. Not as a back up not on practice squad
