I miss my customly-moded original Medieval... And risk-style world map...
Never liked Rome...

Medieval was my favorite as well, but Rome 2 looks pretty good.

My brother and I have been playing EU 4 but we're definitely gonna play this when it comes out, assuming it has a clean release.

Played all of them from Shogun thru Napoleon. Problem is its the same shit over and over. Will there be anything remarkably new with this one?

Whoa two days? I know I haven't been keeping up with the development of this game but wtf. I was expecting some time next year or possibly this holiday season.

Shogun 2 was awesome - but got boring fast. Every faction is basically the same (Samurai) who specialize in different things (trade - melee - archery etc). HOWEVER the game itself is absolutely brilliant - not only the combat, but all the music and the atmosphere as well

All of the UI elements are atmospherically designed with caligraphy and done in that classic ancient Japanese art style; as is the music.

If they capture THIS level of detail with the different playable factions in total war it'll definitely be GOTY material (since the combat was already there in Shogun 2 - and it's merely been refined, diversified, and optimized)

I'm having a pretty good time with the game even though some aspects are a bit buggy. Anyone interested in doing a co-op campaign?

Im not sure, I haven't tried co-op yet, and i always have my sli enabled but i haven't noticed any performance change really.

Next patch I might play some coop, will let you know. Should be on the 13th.
