Hey guys, was messing around with some software found here: http://enbdev.com/index_en.htm and was able to get it working with EQ. I like the bloom effect after some tweeking and the distance blur is pretty awesome although my laptop struggles to run it, Ill upload a How-to later, just wanted to see if you all had any interest first.

The bloom adds a great blend to the world if done in small amounts, I kinda had everything a little exaggerated for the video. The distance blur makes the game look oblivion-like IMO, kinda cool! you may also notice in the video that I have the newer textures and char textures found on this form (that's why the humans and robes look so clean)

The program offers a few other options I was not able to get working, One being reflections. It would be so awesome to see yourself in someones shiny helmet reflection, but no dice. I also couldn't really notice a difference with occlusion effects on (not even quite sure what that means)

Watch the video, Click here (http://youtu.be/CwA1_KoOXBk) Make sure its in HD! Its kinda hard to tell the difference as is.

thanks Runlvlzero!

Kevynne, On the website http://enbdev.com/index_en.htm , It offers the ability to add Direct X effects to any DX8 or 9 game. I will post my set up and tutorial in a couple days probably, still experimenting with it.

I added some more screenshots.

My magical weapon fool! I guess you didn't notice but some items have a light effect to them which give the same result as if you had a greater lightstone in your inventory.
