I was just kind of shocked, both times, that somebody would do that. My thought was how stupid do you have to be to not understand this is the kind of stuff that break guilds apart, just for you to get some pixels. For the cherry on top while i was pulling in King room and could still read local chat, the guy who won said something like this would be great on my lvl16 ranger. Youd expect Random PUGs to do that. Guild group? Twice? Wtf.

I didnt wanna start drama within the guild thats basically the only serious challengers to the main zerg guild here. To be honest if there wasnt people like Jezibell in Azrael i would have left a long time ago, ill leave it at that.

Anyway kind of offtopic here so ill stop being a thread terrorist

TBH I really didn't like about 50% of the people I played with in <Red Dawn> But I played with them anyway because there are ZERO options due to population. There is no rules based solution to that IMO.

I mean I played on a server where people would bend over backwards to help you out before they helped themselves. And it wasn't even a PvP server. I have met a few REALLY great people like that on here (Gustoo, Mostbitter, Samwise, even Lite).

But there are a lot of selfish children so focused on the small picture that it corrupts and destroys any kind of opposition to a greater force.

This is the #1 problem with the box and its not something that can be fixed by "making rules" or "coding in systems". Its a major attitude problem that a majority of the non-nihilum scrubs have.

I'll leave it at that.

If anyone giving feedback is being honest, they will say i have been nothing but helpful to guildies, helping noah getting his epic, buffing the shit out of their alts, logging on my druid for ports, getting guido his epic, etc etc...

I just dont get that much hunger for pixels

Quit the game for 3-4 months after that, not because i was butthurt about not getting an item, but because it was kind of a wake up call that people like me who would pick the guild over pixels are far and few between and that there was no other option for me to go to beside nihilum.

The only things I remember getting on Miria were like a Reed Belt from tunak, some PLs from Chewie, Punkin, Timetobow. Maybe got like a platinum dragon totem or something and a helm ? Nightshade? Zaharans? something.

Needless to say I am not calling you out as a bad guy HB. I am pretty indiff about you. I kinda think you are a lil to serious. And Never before had someone offered me a bunch of plat gear like that. I'm like 99% sure i turned down the plat and said no I would be going it alone, even chuckled a bit about it amongst my friends at the time.

So no need to get into a shit flinging fest. You are not one of the reasons I was ever irritated at the underdogs, in fact I was pretty impressed once I got to know you a bit with your candor towards the idiots who were probably driving you mad at the time. But we had a short run so I am not really judgmental there.

The people who pissed me off the most were a particular group of noobs, one of them a Mage, and another a Sham (not Ecoli). I don't really want to get into a nameing battle because u know...

p.s. barter transactions are considered income and need to be included in your income and you can't write off the cost of the service you provided in exchange for it.

Heres a copy and paste of it. To me its just so obvious that its common sense and how it should work, but i guess you need it to put it in writing for people like you:

In guild groups, it is need before greed, especially for newer, under geared players. There are certain circumstances where need before greed doesn't apply (below).

In guild groups, if you've made a prior agreement with the rest of your group members about how loot should work for that particular group, those rules apply.

In the case of very valuable items, if you've already received one in the past and then sold it to try and get another one (and can say "I still need that item" on a technicality), you will pass until newer players in the group who have never received that item (and need it) get it (unless the sub-clause of 7A was agreed upon at some earlier point, in which case those rules apply). This is essentially an anti-greed, you-should-be-helping-out-your-guildies-instead-of-being-a-loot-whore sort of sub-clause that should be followed diligently.

Well guess what fuck stick? The way we did it in Red Dawn was open rolls with fungis, but you wouldn't know because unlike everyone else in the group you had only been around for a month, and it was your first time in seb with us. Unlike me who had been losing rolls for months already. Also unlike me you cried until the whole guild decided you are a whiny little brat who decided to hate everyone because he didn't get the item he wanted the first time he saw it.

Perhaps instead of throwing a fit and calling foul you might have asked people to go back to seb to camp fungis. Then you could have quit when you didn't get the next item you wanted over someone else instead.
