Levels 25-50

Can anyone offer experience on what works out for best dps w and w/o haste?

Generally speaking, is 2h > 1h for dps?

thx

Generally speaking, if you can't duel wield, better ratio = better dps but need to consider the damage bonus that is more worthwhile on faster weapons at higher levels.

To make it easier for people that follow me up:
http://wiki.project1999.org/Deathbringer%27s_Rod
http://wiki.project1999.org/Noctivagant_Blade
http://wiki.project1999.org/Soul_Binder

Overall Ratio:
Soul Binder 1.5
Noct 1.444
Deathbringer's 1.33

Ratio at level 35 w/ mainhand bonus factored in: (http://lucy.allakhazam.com/dmgbonus.html?setcookie=1)
Deathbringer's 1.052
Noct 1.182
Soul Binder 1.2413

At 50:
Noct .93
Deathbringer's .91
Soul Binder 1.03

(2 x weapon damage + damage bonus) divided by delay is generally the best way to compare weapons.

DB Rod is the highest dps by about 9% from 25-50

Noc Blade is second highest at 25 but Soul Binder will surpass it 50+ and the 100hp lifetap dot that procs at 45 is awesome in many situations.

If you mostly group I would go with the noc blade and shield. If you solo the DB rod, then the Soul Binder lvl 45+.

Thanks for the replies.

Followup question. Do these formulas for dps factor increased number of dbl atk with low delay weapons?

There is no increased number of double attacks with low delay weapons.

You get more double attacks with lower damage/delay weapons because you swing more... for less damage.

It's a ratio effect and so nothing else needs to be calculated.

was thinking about it, and i think if i ever get my baby SK up to 40+ then i'm gonna have him use a proc one hander plus a shield. because why not? SK with a Sarnak Warhammer in main hand would be pretty sweet i would think.
