Turned in Breath of Gwan to SLeeping orge right after 8pm central (texas) with Biggslick, Redgar, and Tomba.

Once dead, loot the "Breath of Gwan" and go directly to the Mines of Nurga to find a sleeping ogre. He's KOS so you may have to have an enchanter charm him for this next part.

AKA, you need indifferent faction.

One way to do this is to sneak.

Was informed you killed him after trying your hand in - Can you confirm what time you killed him at if possible?

I think it was the little 35 necro that was leveling there who aggroed him after. He must have died at 8:20 central time as I went afk to send this petition about 8:13 and came back and he was gone.

With the ease of this part of the quest, its better to re-do it then wait / bug a GM for assistance.

I'll try but its not that easy for a unguilded monk with low plat. I can scrounge up 2k to port everyone up there and buy daggers I guess. I did sneak btw, The 35 necro moved the mob to a weird location so he didn't have to keep killing him. I think this bugged the turn in...

Can confirm as of 12:20 EST when he re-spawned last night that sneaking up behind him and handing it in worked properly to spawn "Trunt"

Make sure he is not scowling during your hand in, quest mobs MUST be indifferent.
