I recently watched an animated kids movie that had the EQ DING sound ripped straight outta eq.

I really can't remember what movie it was which is too bad. i feel like it was tangled or jack the giant slayer or some shit. Was definitely the EQ ding sound, though. Watched it twice to be sure. DDDDDDDIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGG

The "EQ trumpet" was always just a stock sound effect. It's been used for many years long before EQ was even made.

There is a scooby doo episode that has the ding sound i just forget which it is. Which makes it many years older then EQ cause it was from one of the early 80's version series i have for my son. We were watching it one day and i was doing something on PC and heard the ding lol.

I've heard the rats, wolves, ding sound, and even skellies over the years in random shows

hell I played bloodlines several times in my life and never recognized the whisper midi until now.. I'm sure the sounds are all common throughout media
