I have had an issue with characters not being able to load for a while now. It seems if something happens and I get disconned during zoning, the character is never able to be logged on again. Everything works perfectly till after a character is selected to play. The program will hang then eventually crash back to the log in. No error message is given( yes I have read the 1018 posts). Currently I have a character stuck in Gfay, OT, and FV. Had a character stuck in lake of ill omen, but it was a junk character and it got deleted.

things I have done to resolve the issue:
1) Reset all networking components
2) Verified emu ports open
3) Uninstall/reinstall titanium
4) Went through every page in the bugs section, the project 1999.ini files some have posted to fix the 1018 problem do not exist in the Sony directory anywhere.

This is a known issue with de-syncing a character during zoning and where the eq process gets closed or crashed.

It takes about 5 minutes for the de-sync'ing to clear but I don't see how it can be permanent on your characters. Perhaps account specific?

1) Can you try to re-produce using a different eqemu account?

2) Post your eqgame.exe logs from ..\Eq_dir\Logs

I looked through the log file. Last entry was on the 21st. Since then the server has been down for me. If i remember correctly i actually have to log onto a character and type /log to force it to log everything?

Here is the log for the 21st for character name interrupt, which was a crash to log in. I start the copy/paste from the successful camping of crumby.

This is similar to what's happening to me as well. After the big crash few days ago I have been on a 700ms ping all the time since then and if I zone my character to OT I'm unable to login as it will crash right to login everytime, I had my friend zone me to FM and I then went to droga. It took me 2-3 attempts to login but I was able to get on but now I just cannot login at all, kicks me to login everytime and does the temporary IP block if I try to login a different acct however if I try to relogin the same account I'm able to get to character select right away only to crash again.

I reinstalled hoping that would fix it but nope, same problem, my chars in Dagnors and WC I'm able to login no problem.

I, at first, figured it was more of a kunark bug than a client bug. I went through the process of making new toons from different races an seeing how long it took for them to get locked out. It had a pattern of old world zones acting correctly and kunark zones lag locking once I got away from cabilis and Fob. But now i have a character stuck in gfay, so the logic of a kunark only bug is out the window.

At the point now were no character can be logged on. Much like caleros posted, ping never drops below 700 or 800 now. Going to get a second account, and see if the issue persists.
