There is a post right now in trade forum where someone is selling 10-Packs of Fungi tunics. Blue server has become the d2jsp of EQEmu. At least on red we kill each other.

My time online varies, sometimes I'm on during peak... sometimes, like today, I'm on during off peak. But I know I can at least form a group on red and enter the classic PL zones without having to look elsewhere because some douchebags want to farm some more account plat ;)

I honestly wasn't trying to troll you, but it appeared to me that you only wanted to play off hours. I agree it would be nice to not have someone butt into your area for cash, but the cons of red far out way the pros in my opinion. Every time I think about rolling red, I picture myself camping the ancient for 8 hours like I commonly do here. The thrill and excitement I get when that bastard spawns. Me casting my first spell, watching his life bar tick down. LOADING PLEASE WAIT. You have been slain by :nonamegriefer I have never been truly angry at this game. Frustrated? Maybe. But I would put a hole in the wall if this were to happen.

Point taken. I've seen the South Ro AC spawn, seen someone engage it... only to be nuked down by a wizard, who then finishes the AC off himself and gets the ring. I'd be raging, I know most people would... but that's red. It's different, its not for everyone, but it's not all bad (and more fun than the OP's YouTube video for definite).

I agree with you in that it's not all bad. Killing an kiting bard would make my week, but the same thing could happen to me in reverse. I speak only for myself when I say this, but I honestly believe pvp EQ is was created with the sole purpose of luring the most vile and nasty trolls and players away from the much more light hearted and hot headed players.
