Hey guys and gals!

Sorry to be a pain but I have tried to find a fix in amongst these posts but haven't come across anything yet.

My issue is this: After loading up the EQEmu Launcher, it asked me for a folder path (found this section again in the options tab on the launcher), now I wasn't too sure what to put in here but found my way to the everquest folder in the C: drive .... I clicked this folder and BOOOM it entered like a file name (sorry not very computer savvy lol just trying to get back to old eq) but now when I click project 1999 on the right hand side of the EQEmu Launcher and click play, it tells me "You do not have enough permissions to the specified Everquest-Directory. Aborting patch..." :-(

Not sure what I have done wrong, or continuing to do wrong here lol any constructive feedback would be more than appreciated!

Thank you all kindly and again i'm sorry if this has occured already in a previous post!

Ok so I guess i'm showing my age or computer knowledge here because my daughter just told me I have to run as administrator or something :-( sorry guys just delete or discard this stupid message lol boooooooo

Yeah i read the sticky but as I didn't understand what the issue was I was looking specifically for the same message (or reference to the same message) that I had on screen lol /sigh sorry ... just managed to log into the server about 10mins ago now though!! woooot!! :-) :-)

Unfortunately though I am now stuck trying to figure out where the dang sound has gone! lol old eq is awsome but old eq with old eq sound is even better!!

all the best :-)

sound on p99 is pretty subtle - if you aren't hearing any sound, make sure your speakers are turned up and you are actually missing the sound.

If no sound is playing then repost here and ill try to help you out.

Ill add a section to the FAQ about admin permissions when i get a chance.
