Iksar starting question.

Hello there, just started playing p99 for the first time and having a blast. Quick question. Is there any starting quest or area to pick up a two hander near Cabilis. I started a SK and this is my first Iksar character ever. I'm already level 8 and would like to practice my 2HS or 2HB and have yet to find even a rusty two hander. Thanks.

Can't think of a time I ever saw a 2hb or 2hs drop out in field of bone sir.

Maybe stick your head in EJ (zone line) and see if someone can sell you a "throw away" seb/KC 2hander.

I know in my bags I had 25/40 swords and others that sold for barely 150pp.

There are a couple nameds in Kurn's that can drop fine steel 2h, but that's not going to be something you're likely to find. May have to wait til you venture out further

go to FM and ask people killing giants if you can loot Axe of the Iron Back (http://wiki.project1999.org/Axe_of_the_Iron_Back). Ive given away 5+ during my time on P99, it made their day. They probably ended up quitting that character anyway due to the gnarly exp penalty, but they were happy for a brief time

Axe of the Iron Back also drops in WW I believe. You might be able to go there and shout and get someone to give you. People also routinely sell to the vendors there, but I'm not sure how bad the buy back price is.

As for 2HB you can buy a shovel (http://wiki.project1999.org/Shovel) in East Cab. It's not listed on the wiki, but I think the vendor is on the vendor island in the corner closest to the Swamp of No Hope ZL. If not that one then check around. It's a decent item for just working on your 2HB.
