VP is much harder with 25-30 then the 35-40 we rolled with in classic, but we are more geared to the max now. Dragons never quaded in classic VP. Dragons gated at 5% in classic, I know you think otherwise.

- Knowledge, everyone knows the fights in and out now. They did not then.
- Gear, P99 has gear overload that most on classic never saw.
- Communication, voice chat has made EQ much easier then in the past when text only communication was the norm. Typing out instructions before any fight with any new people around took serious time. Reacting in TEXT was difficult to say the least.
- Invis pulling, This only saves time and doesn't make the actual fight easier. The old way was to die at entrance and have someone with faction drag all corpses to the pull spot and ress.

Keep in mind that communication is linked directly to knowledge. If we had voice chat back in the day people would know more then they did.

- Knowledge - after doing the fight once or twice, they knew it and continued to farm it. You knew the fight for progression purposes in advance, but it doesn't make farming it easier.
- Gear, yes the timeline.. heh. WTB Project BigBoy when its done.
- Communication - I know we had Vent in velious, don't remember when that started but in Vanilla raiding it was "no one in shout while we make groups". So I'll score you some points there.
- Invis pulling/exploited dragon haste/farmed gems from exploited mist walkers you can forget it mister.

The SINGLE THING (non-bug / content related) that makes this easier, in all honesty, is the client stability. Back in live if you had 40-50 people and engaged a raid mob, many people just dc'd.

As far as skill or knowledge, most of the people I met here were completely and absolutely clueless about content and most mechanics. The average raider on RZ was about Chuck/Nirgon/Kringe knowings of the game. Here I see people that don't even know their way through Butcher Block and the Freeports decked out in PD lewt. Ew.

That goes for any possible deals of protection for people who assisted him along the way. Once those servers are out, you aren't valuable and better keep your nose clean.

Some of you may have seen me in NFP, groups, or EC tunnels/GM event recently (I'm the mage pirate with the SMR robe ;P) Anyways i was recently banned for exploiting pathing in EFP on guards ( found out through my own investigating). This is totally false and I was actually waiting for someone I was grouped with to be back from AFK, withing a 3-5 min alt tab for changing music i re tabbed into EQ and found i was disconnected and then banned. Also through the whole time before the AFk we killed probably 2 guards that spawned together so we hadn't even killed repops or anything, we were failing pretty hard at it :P.

This was two weeks ago and i am yet to hear anything from anyone on how long I am banned or suspended for. i have multiple views on my petition that are not caused from myself and I am still wondering why I havent heard anything. I do NOT mean to come off as angered at the devs and gms. I completely understand that there are many other players with problems and the devs themselves having much bigger problems than this, but it has been two weeks now and i was told that my petition would be looked at last weekend. I have thanked them for everything they have done and have appreciated it all up until this unexplainable event. i have been patient and have refrained from using RAF but it is really my only choice left. IRC, messages on forums, and in game messages to GMs have all failed. So hopefully i can grab anyones attention who can help me with this so i can get an explanation and/or time how long i am banned for a false accusation ( or hopefully an unbanning allowing me to play again and enjoy the game)

PS. The person i was grouped with was unbanned the day of the incident and i am leaving it up to them to post on this thread to say something because i do not want to name names, or have them brought into my problem. Again thanks to everyone who has tried helping through this whole ordeal.

Nizzar robbed me, admitted it, and refuses to return my stuff to me and I don't know why Ambrotos and co. refuse to provide assistance considering their ban policy with everyone else.
