Assuming you are an established player and not a new player who can't afford donating anything over 5-10p. Let's also not include special ports/services like evacs/multiple ports. Just a typical port from say EC to anywhere in Norrath.

It usually all depends but the least i will give is 50pp. If i notice its a lower level druid/wizzy with lower end gear i might throw them 100pp or so. Now since poll wasnt for other ports i'll say that for anything other then a EC to somewhere port i will usually give 100pp+. If i have sub 500pp pieces of gear on me that porter can use i will give it to them too along with donation aswell.

40-60, 200+ if I just really don't want to wait around in OT

Usually 50-100pp depending on if I asked them or if they're advertising. If they're advertising and there's a large party he's porting around to multiple locations, 50pp.

If I bug someone in WC and asking can you port me, 100p minimum.

You get a free c2 as well.

almost always 100pp, I hate waiting around and if you /ooc 100pp for a port the porters swarm on you like flies on a fresh kill. Shit is awesome

50-75pp is my standard offer for a port, im always with my wife so its usually for 2 people. Having a druid main I feel anything above 50 is going to get someone who would otherwise not stop to port you to at least think about it. If i want a port fast i'll offer 100p. At that amount porters don't even have to be in the zone, a lower level or poor druid/wizzys friends will let them know that someone is paying 100p for a port somewhere.

30-60 depending on location/advertising

(e.g., 30p for someone advertising in EC, 60p if I /ooc looking for one in DL or something).

100p if I need to get somewhere fast or to entice the euro pals to port me during odd hours

When I was levelling up I would give pp equivalent to my level rounded up to the nearest 5. Now its 100p unless I've bothered someone to come get me or doing a dl/evac run.

50p usually.

If it's from a less popular spot 75 or 100.

I tipped Rideous 400p for a tip. He is a good porter so I thought he desrved it!

Typically 50-200p per port depending on when and how quickly i need it

Ridan came and picked up my monk in Feerott even though he had a eyepatch the one day. i tipped him extra for going against his morals of the hour.

75 is my standard base, with extra depending how much i have on me, if i haven't destroyed my gold yet, whether or not their name entertains me, wind speed, and the current cycle of the moon.

Eh between 50 and 75pp depends how much I have on me at the time.

Might do /ran 50 125. Seems more fair lol.

I typically donate 50pp but when I'm on my Druid porting if newb tries to give me less then 25pp I won't take it. I assume if they try to donate that little they are too broke to donate.

Ooh.

I'm going to start donating /ran 100, but doubles will keep it going. I potentially will be donating an infinite amount of pp for a port (except that I don't actually have an infinite amount of pp!).

50pp usually, unless I'm on an alt with less.

If people start sneering at 50pp for pressing a few buttons then the server has gone to the dogs.

This would ruin it, imo :(

Porters should know that by making this commitment they run the risk of getting paid very little.

I've always thought 1pp per level was a pretty good guide.

That said, I've got a porter bound in OT for guild use but sometimes I'll pick up the odd straggler/'toon in need. I'd say 50p is about average (and minimum, really) for OT-hammer 'toons.

I love the /random 100 idea, though. Tho maybe I'll do /random 25 100.

I pay 100 plat every time. And you know what? I never never have to wait. Instead I have to decide which of the 10 druids who /tell me I'm going with.

I also alt a druid, 30p is probably the average donation.

Hit me up for FREE ports whenever...I stopped accepting donations at level 50. Although if I am particularly broke I will accept donations from TMO members.

Often times though, instead of coin I donate a platinum bar which is just under 100p to vendor. It won't weigh me or the druid down and as a GM JCer I allways have a stack on me. Gems work good too. If somone refuses my money I /split 200 and dispand.

/ooc Looking for port to xx, paying 50pp. Upfront about the cost, only had one guy try to get 100p out of me for his port.

I then did /guild Anyone free to port me please?

Typically though if you're wondering how much to pay for ports, what I do is: think of where I am and what my destination is, and calculate how long it would take me without a port. Whatever that time is worth to me is what I offer for ports.
