I was wondering about this myself the other day, because I'd like to keep all my rogue's weapon skill up to par. I'll definitely have to check out the fishing pole quest, thanks for that info.:)

When Kunark comes out...Moss Covered Twig... is a 3/10 weapon until it is taken out or nerfed to the 6/20 weapon

Moss covered branch will be a 5/15. That replaces the twig drop after the nerf.

Are they going to allow pre-nerf twigs? I thought they went so far as to delete or change ALL twigs because the dmg was pretty much game breaking on a 10 delay wep.

iirc, on live not only did the twig stop dropping to be replaced by the branch, but the twigs that did exist got retroactively nerfed to offhand only. I'm not 100% on that, but pretty sure that was the deal. Wonder how that will be approached when we hit kunark (will we get War useable RFS for X number of weeks too? hmmmm)

X numbers of weeks? Another fucking reason NOT to be doing this pre/post nerf shit.

If the devs fucking fixed the stuff, why is this server trying to break them to fix them again.. makes no fucking sense. All it does is have new players complain that they didn't get the no-longer dropping shit, or old players complain about "how it was" which was.. less than a month ago in their time reference.

Yeah, I don't think that would make much sense either, was just wondering how it would be approached. I have no clue. But if the allow the pre-nerf version it'll be fun for people for a very short period of time, I know that.
