The truth about the so called pvp champs

Checked out loz the other day and was astonished by what I saw. I had expected to see an ample amount, perhaps even a flood of yellow text. What I saw instead brought years to my eyes. The so called pvp champs who fled this "blue" server were six boxing AoW, clearing NToV, killing bosses. Kringe crew was spotted doing what Kringe crew does best, PvE. Say it ain't so guys, I thought PvE was dumb, why is there so much of it going down over there? (Though I'm hesitant to call loz PvE at all)

Answer: because all these people want is to kill bosses and they can't do it here because they lack the ability to organize, so they hide on a server where bosses can be killed with eight people boxing and the threat of pvp is low.

Do not be fooled by those who claim they play eq for pvp, sure, there are a few brave souls like Chewie who truly only play for pvp, but the vast majority of them want the pixels. While the sages amongst us always knew this truth; all you had to do was see the massive infighting in azrael over DKP, the failed alliances over loot distribution etc., we now see it revealed clearly once and for all.

Embrace your love of the pixel. It is the only true uniting force that can lead to sustainable competition.

Fake stasis or not the seething fury thing was lulz. What people who ask for nihilum to split into two don't get is that the guild is made up of a small core and then lots of sporadic and low playtime players. We did trak the other day with like 22 and one cleric. We can barely get 3 clerics to VP lately and can't even break 28. We can't kill nexona or hoshkar anymore. If we split into two we prolly wouldn't be able to kill very much at all. Many of the people who would be splitting are low playtime euros and others who would probably quit. People act as though if we stopped recruiting or accepting that those people would join force instead. What they don't get is they are people from azrael from force etc who tell us openly they are either joining us or quitting because there's nothing else for them here.

Well, to be fair, Nihilum does farm the same mobs over and over and over and over with very little turn over. Tune, Nizzar, etc will never stop farming these mobs. It's what they enjoy and what sustains their life force. We both know this.

If Nihilum did split it would be beneficial to everyone except a handful of people that are neck-deep in dragon haste already. And who cares about them?

When he would port around with Lovely on his druid and fight us it was really a great time. We'd shit talk each other, have some laughs, and in the end we'd joke with each other.

Then things became...more complicated. People became more entrenched in their positions. The hate began to grow on both sides. However, Nizzar and myself maintained a very amicable relationship that was bordering on fondness. We talked daily. Our communications always remained respectable and professional. He'd kill me sometimes, sometimes we'd kill him. I always made sure he was okay afterwards and consoled him during periods of anguish or frustration.

One day it just happened. I remember it clearly. The desert madmen were murmuring and skulking about the Southern Deserts of Ro. The moss snakes, satiated with the sun on their cold bellies in the afternoon light, were hissing. Even the dreaded orc camps were relatively peaceful and quiet. I saw him. A noble hero in his Vermiculated armor teleported into the ancient druid ruins alone. He began his afternoon meditation. I stuck my head up from behind a rock and let out a quiet groan of pleasure. The powerful druid's eyes were fixed upon, nay, locked upon my succulent dwarf body.

Negative...pixel lust too high. Holo's biggest problem was patience. No one had patience for PVE to re learn how things were coded here over VZTZ, so Nihilum comes along, says, PVP for us and defend our pixels and we'll throw you gear, you dont even need to be participating in the raid. Thats all Holo ever wanted and now they got it.

While I hate PVE i probably hate it more, hence why I'm on LOZ. 5 players boxing can do most of TOV. Spend majority of them time PVPing Blackwater and going 3 v 20 against them. Shits hella more fun then classic/kunark raiding shit.

What does it even mean to carry people in EQ? God damn man some of you people make this game seem like the pinnacle of gaming skill. Most of you probably couldn't handle a fucking LFR in WoW. This is not a difficult game folks, even more so on loz with static charm duration, pet buff bar, upped melee dps and spell dps with super fast cast times, necro pets that could solo dragons etc., etc. Seriously what massive skill is needed in this game? Auto attacking the boss and casting ch on the tank? The only problem were fights like Spine of Deathwing where you could have people purposely screw the fight up by killing tendrils or worse a entire group queue in together and roll the dragon by standing on the side. Either way comparing LFR raids in WoW to carrying EQ newbs in raids is totally different. EQ is way harder and takes more hand holding/time then WoW.

Nothing about EQ is harder than WoW. Actual WoW raids, not LFR, require mechanics far beyond the complexity of anything in EQ. To even say otherwise is factually incorrect. Take an encounter like Lei Shen or Durumu or Horridon, and then lol on heroic mode, and you're going to tell me that's easier than EQ, a game where with enough clerics you can infinitely auto attack the mob until it dies?
