I posted this in the melee forum but then i realised that nobody reads it, so...
I need some help deciding what to get!
I'm currently lvl 20 and my relevant equipment includes, Peacebringer, RBG, Hiero cloak, 52k, and epic. My options are:
A) RGB, Hiero Cloak, and PP for CoF and TBB
B) RBG + PP for RBB
C) T Staff
D) SoS and Addy Club
I'm looking for the most long term viable upgrade that will also help me to solo most effectively.
Thanks for your time and input!

How do you have that amount of plat and gear and aren't familiar enough with the game to know what to buy?

I already have a Fungi. My other slots don't really need to be upgraded save for what I had mentioned in the original post.

I am very familar with the game, but new to the Monk class specifically. This is why I asked for advice from people that know what they're talking about versus going out and making the wrong move. I'm sure that any of the options I listed would be fine and dandy, but I am really looking for the most beneficial.

I would definitely just keep the RBG and grab an SOS. Leave some plat left over for something else. Maybe grab a djarns ring and hardened clay bracelet or something. With epic your best dps is generally accepted to be fist in main hand and sos in secondary. Some will argue that tstaff is better but I prefer fist/SOS and in my personal parses that has come out higher than tstaff dps.
The COF etc would be nice upgrades but I think you'd be better suited just keeping some plat on hand and buying an SOS.

Undergeared for your level, imo.

it's splitting hairs in the lower levels
weapons and haste matter more than anything, so whichever option gets you CoF and ad club/SoS or Tstaff
edit: this is assuming you have a fungi already, because that would priority #1

Thanks for all the input. My main concern with switching to a CoF is all the stat loss to gain an extra 9% haste. Is 9% extra haste really that impactful?
Compared to RBG/Hiero, CoF/TBB would give me:
+1ac +3str +5agi +9% haste -3dex -12sta -50hp

Haste is capped at 50% til lvl 49 it looks like. No need to upgrade that for another 30 levels or so

Genius! So what i'm getting from this is that I should wait til 50+ to get my CoF and just use RBG + RoTWF in the meantime, right?

If you have your epic (40%) you can max out with even an FBSS, won't even need haste buffs til 50.

unfortunatly the epic clicky doesnt work until lvl 50, so right now the epic just has nice stats and makes my fists 9/16

Monk epic increaces fist damage?

no, it lowers it. and lowers delay.
fists for humans 14/26 at 60, 14/27 iksar. but epic makes it 9/16

This dude is going to get some poor group annihilated when he has no clue how to pull an orc pawn without bringing the rest of the zone. :D

That hurts! I thought the goal playing a Monk was to learn how to pull trains so you can app TMO/FE?
People are so quick to jump the RMT gun. He probably did exactly what everyone says to do on this forum; Roll a caster to farm PP then roll a melee of your choice.

I am not sure the haste cap IS in effect?? I can put a CoF on a level one toon and go like hell.
And T-Staff doesn't proc till like level 50. He can learn how to pull. But I can tell you some people are just damn better at it than others. It is sort of the skill required to play Chess well. Pulling is not easy on here. Sounds to me you have all the gear you need even at level 60. Better gear than I have on mine or need.

Daddy what should I get a Lamborghini or Aston Martin, I'm tired of my Ferrari. This is what I think it sounds like when I read the original post. I soloed most of the way to level 50 with Wu's Armor, no haste, and Wu's Quivering Staff, uphill and in the snow lol. Just jealousy I guess =).
Anyhow, to answer your question Richie Rich, Cloak of Flames adds the most to your DPS. Here's why... your weapon ratio right now with 27% haste and 28/30 weapon is 1.185. If you add 9% haste your weapon ratio would improve to 1.269. If you go to TStaff, it would improve to 1.227. SoS and AC are not improvements for DPS, although useful for situations where melee push comes in handy. Tstaff is the best weapon a Monk can get, it should be next on your list after Cloak of Flames.
