If you ignore Nihilum and let them log into PvE in peace no one would even realize they were on the server. There are only a couple people like Gloinz in the guild that put in enough hours to PvE with Nihilum to then be able to out gear in PvP. The core of the guild is gearing up to be better prepared for PvE.

Cut the population in half and you have the real PvP community. The other half is here to PvE and doesn't want to deal with the poop socking on Blue.

With that being said, we saw eye to eye in that it did not make it any less detrimental. Specially in a server where many people's skepticism is very high(amelinda ect). First time in years that mobs were pushed out of Nihilum's comfort zone. Allowing for the catching up of gear to finally begin. This took a ridiculous level of work, and the next day it was undone.

Sol B crashed when we were about to get our first Ragefire kill. (zade confirmed and questioned nihilum about it)

I'll touch on a few of your points because I do think you are a pal just going through some intense Forumquest rage right now:

1. Everyone trolling me about the BOTB cares a lot more than I do. As a "competitive" person, yeah it sucks that I lost; but Colgate summed up our fight in his post with his log. He was prepared, I was not. He forced the disc use and I popped the wrong one. As far as the fight goes, it was incredibly close and was an awesome duel. He had about 100 HP and 50 AC more than me. Factor in Iksar regen, it came to about 400 HP total all in all, arguably the most important stat. Yes, I had about 20 more STR AGI than he did. Cut out all the bullshit in between, the fight still came down to 4% vs 4%. If you look at the log, I missed my kick on the line just before he landed the final killing blow kick. That goes to show you how close it was despite everything that went down. Again - awesome fight.

2. Holocaust... unjustly banned. Sore subject. We all know the drill.

3. Why rag on everyone in the chat? Most of us have known each other for 5-10 years and enjoy shooting the shit. Why do you put such emphasis on logs and screenshots? I could comb AIM logs and EQ logs for some funnies, but it just serves no purpose. Everyone is a real person here just trying to play an old game. Can you imagine if you met some of the people here in real life? Despite the intense hatred that everyone apparently has for each other, were all 20-somethings playing a 14 year old game that was our first addiction essentially. 90% of the population here would be best pals.

I told everyone, the one advantage / opportunity we had was that despite the gear advantage / number advantage nihilum had we had could gain the level advantage. However, lite had a hard on for KC one of the worst exp zones in the game and no one wanted to play the classes critical for fast/effective exp aka enchanters and clerics. Only big Tina was willing to take one for the team, and I did my best to gear her up and pl her for her sacrifice. Everyone went into Kunark every man for himself which was the exact opposite of what I was preaching. I even grouped big lennart to rape my exp bar as my groups sole healer. Ole well.

It must have been frustrating trying to manage people that wouldn't listen to you, but the solution was not to join the enemy. By doing so, you made absolutely sure that all your efforts were in vain.
